ajenela Saying "with all due respect" before saying "you don't know what you're talking about" does not indicate respect. I think your friend has got a cheek to talk to you like that. It is sometimes people "on the outside" of a situation who can see it more clearly.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can support Trump - however disenchanted they are with more mainstream politicians. He is an arrogant, rude bully who isn't, as he purports, a "self made man " and who is setting up people to hate one another.

It may well be an act to get elected, but if it isn't and he is elected, I think it's a very frightening prospect.

I see he said that women should be "punished" for having abortions but when challenged couldn't say how. He didn't think the men involved should be, but I believe he has back tracked now he realises what an outrage it has caused. Sadly as far as he is concerned all publicity is good publicity. I suppose it is encouraging that it caused an outrage.

None of us have lived in America for 10 years as far as I know. Let alone more years than that.

If we flipped it over, are there any of us here that think that Americans would be better qualified than us to say they can say our politics more clearly? What would we say if they told us how to vote about Jeremy Corbyn?

There was an article by someone who used to work for him, who says that he never expected to do this well. It was just supposed to be a wakeup call to the establishment. He only expected to get about 20%, which would have been enough, according to them, to make them think again.

What a poisonous and obnoxious character Trump is. How I hope to see the wonderful, intelligent and thoughtful Hillary Rodham Clinton as first female president of the USA! She respects her electorate, as Obama does; Trump respects nobody and especially not women...
