You didn't think I would ignore this did you?

obieone Sun 12-Jun-16 20:33:25

I think your post of 11.17am is designed to mislead. I think a number of your posts are like that.
And as I also now discover[see the new thread in news and politics that I started] others are also posting to mislead too.

JessM Sun 12-Jun-16 21:19:37

What kind of EU immigrant is the wrong kind obelone?

obieone Sun 12-Jun-16 21:54:34

I am not falling for traps that some posters set, either.

Jalima Sun 12-Jun-16 21:57:32

good for you

practical Sun 12-Jun-16 22:31:48

don't blame you obieone

Suz12 Sun 12-Jun-16 22:36:15

JessM I agree with you. If the Tory government had not been voted in we wouldn't be in this position. I don't know about anyone else but I don't know enough about the EU to make such a big decision. We have both sides coming out with facts and figures that contradict each other. We vote in a government to make these decisions for us and they have access to a lot more information than us. I think it is a cop out asking us the public to make the decision - whichever way it goes, they, the government, can turn round when things don't happen as they have said, that It isn't their fault - it is ours. They won't be held accountable!

durhamjen Sun 12-Jun-16 22:39:06

Obieone, I resent the fact that you keep accusing me of misleading. I do not do that. I asked a perfectly straightforward question.
You are the one who said that people did not mean that sort of migrant. Please stop making statements like that if you are not prepared to justify your meaning.

durhamjen Sun 12-Jun-16 22:43:12

"Why do people think that it will be horrendous trading out of the EU?

The top 4 or top 6 wealthiest countries are not European. And surprisingly few European countries make the top 20. 4 or 5."

This is what YOU said at 10.41, obieone. Was that meant to mislead?

obieone Mon 13-Jun-16 07:07:21

I have already said sorry for my error.
It wouldnt have made sense if I had done it to mislead as it makes my point worse not better! It wouldnt have conveyed what I wanted it to convey.

You never try and mislead durhamjen? You never for example pick an example of something and not say that there are several sources that say the opposite to your point?

Or you never say use the word Europe instead of the word EU to try and make something look like something different

etc etc

Gracesgran Mon 13-Jun-16 09:40:33

Oblieone, in various places I have now see leavers say that people putting the remain argument are in some cases "contentious" and in some "misleading". Each time I have seen it all it means is "I don't like people not sharing my view".

obieone Mon 13-Jun-16 10:56:52

So others have said about the misleading too? Interesting.

Misleading to me means nothing of the sort you have written.

Belittling misleading or/and even further misleading is so not a good idea.

Gracesgran Mon 13-Jun-16 11:08:47

No obieone - only you. Others have taken the excuse of "contentious" for no liking someone disagreeing with them.

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 11:13:32

What does misleading mean to you, obieone?

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 11:41:39

Stephen Kinnock on 130 at the moment.
The only people who will be happy if the EU unravels will be Putin and Farage.
I bet Farage is happy about that!

Welshwife Mon 13-Jun-16 11:46:25

Will he get a good pension if he can no longer be an MEP?

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 11:47:32

Richard Murphy's reasons for voting remain.

Looks very impressive on a mindmap.

obieone Mon 13-Jun-16 12:12:01

dj, I refuse to play word games.

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 12:18:16

Go away and play something else then, if you cannot even say what you mean by misleading. You accuse me of doing it, then say that you do not mean the same as others do by it.
What are you playing at, if not word games?
Someone else used to do that all the time, called soontobe.

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 12:35:21

I do not know if Farage needs it, Welshwife.
He will probably stand as an MP again. Is there such a thing as a safe Ukip seat?

For those of you who think we do not do enough about immigration, I found this very disturbing.

Welshwife Mon 13-Jun-16 12:48:11

He may not need itDJ but I doubt he would turn it down if it were offered!

obieone Mon 13-Jun-16 12:56:17

Misleading to me means nothing of the sort you have written.

If that is the bit that you are querying, I was replying to Gracesgran's post.

For the definition of the word mislead, look in the dictionary.

Firecracker123 Mon 13-Jun-16 12:59:44

obieone take no notice, some people on here are acting like school girl bullies. They do not want to debate with anyone who does not share their views on the EU and talk down to them.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Jun-16 13:03:43

I have reported jendurham's post of 12.18.16 for obvious reasons.

durhamjen Mon 13-Jun-16 13:05:07

Obieone, I know the meaning of the word misleading. You are the one who said that you mean something different. You are the one who is accusing others of being misleading.

What does misleading mean to you, obieone?

Firecracker, why is asking for clarification bullying? I want to debate with obieone, but not if she is accusing me of being misleading. She is the one who is not willing to debate, not me.

practical Mon 13-Jun-16 13:05:50

How anyone can bring a Kinnock in as a plus I'll never know.
