I have done hours of research and if we vote stay in then Junker ect will clamp down immediately and we will have the euro which is a failing currency already plus we will have no protection against flooding the country with immigrants.

It's possible my interpretation of the thread title was wrong. I think some other people interpretated it that way too though but chose to ignore the interpretation. Seems the thread's buggered now anyway. Ah well, hey ho. (I didn't see the deleted post).

Hello all,
If only it was end of June already and we knew and could start dealing with the outcome one way or the other. We've said it before and we know most of you do this anyway, but please be respectful of each other's views, even if you don't share them. If only everyone voting gave this referendum as much thought. We're going to delete the previous few posts only because they mention the post we had to delete but please don't let that kill the conversation.

I got my postal vote this morning and have just filled it in ready to send back. Three weeks today we should know which way the country voted and we will have to live with it whichever it is. We live in interesting times.

At the beginning I thought David Cameron wanted us out of the EU. Now he wants us to stay in. What changed his mind?

thatbags Fri 03-Jun-16 16:09:05

Similarly, Jeremy Corbyn has been a eurosceptic for all of his long political career until the date of the referendum was announced. Then he changed his mind. I wonder what changed his mind?

Ana Fri 03-Jun-16 16:15:53

Yes he's hardly been enthusiastically endorsing us staying in, has he? Very lacklustre...seems more concerned about those pesky journalists and the rest of the media criticising/qustioning his leadership qualities.

nigglynellie Fri 03-Jun-16 16:19:05

I think all this mind changing is part of the indecision felt by some people. You can't really believe in the sincerity of anyone who changes their mind like the flicking of a switch. I think DC is trying to sound convincing, but JC sounds very luke warm, I guess that's because he is!!!

granjura Fri 03-Jun-16 16:20:35

it's been one of the really interesting part of the campaign- to see people from all sides who would never have campaigned together before, join up to push the case for IN or OUT.

rosesarered Fri 03-Jun-16 16:47:11

Corbyn hopes we will vote to leave ( he can have his cake and eat it then) and Cameron simply doesn't have the courage to leave the EU.

obieone Fri 03-Jun-16 17:10:20

Perhaps Jeremy Corbyn will do or say something nearer June 23 to properly show that.

rosesarered Fri 03-Jun-16 17:11:23

Don't hold your breath.

Ana Fri 03-Jun-16 17:11:58

Properly show what? confused

GandTea Fri 03-Jun-16 17:14:16

In the 30+ years we have been in the EU, it is not surprising that people have changed their minds about the pros and cons, I'm sure there are some that were against are now for and visa versa.
If people did not change their mind debate would be pointless.

Ana Fri 03-Jun-16 17:17:56

Absolutely, but JC doesn't come across as convinced, and DC seems to be just going through the motions.

rosesarered Fri 03-Jun-16 17:21:26

Shall we hold a Leave Party celebration now or wait until June 24th? grin???

obieone Fri 03-Jun-16 17:24:14
