Only a few months and there will be a new PM, who?

This is a page from his website:

www.jesse4hereford.com/eu_referendum

Links to balanced arguments from both sides.

A pity Ruth Davidson can't be co-opted. She has said she wants to see "stability prioritised" in the wake of the Brexit vote.

("But I do not believe that a second independence referendum will help us achieve that stability,")

Actually I think Boris would make a good Prime Minister. Would be great to watch.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:31:02

I think it will be Boris.

Mind you, I thought we'd stay in. hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:31:52

Oh please nobody boring from the back benches.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:32:49

Shame we don't get to vote on this one.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:33:16

I would vote for Boris.

Jane10 Fri 24-Jun-16 21:45:48

How about PM Patel?!

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:48:19

No. BORIS!!!

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:49:24

I was going to say, I wonder how he'd get on with Angela. Then I remembered, he wouldn't have to.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 24-Jun-16 21:50:33

I suppose they'll do all the negotiating by email.

I voted Tory at the last election, because I though Cameron was the best person for the job. What choice would i have next time, Boris or Corbyn, OMG what a choice, neither of them capable of leading the country through the rough time we have ahead.
We have to play the cards that the voters have dealt, but we will need a strong government if we are to recover. With the MP's available from ant party, I can't see such a government.

varian Fri 24-Jun-16 22:48:48

Vote LibDem - the party that has always put country first, is the most untied and has an excellent leader in Tim Farron

varian Fri 24-Jun-16 22:49:19

united , not untied

Leticia Fri 24-Jun-16 23:01:51

Totally depressing. I don't like any of the options.
I was so elated when Gove suggested he might resign if we stayed!

Anniebach Fri 24-Jun-16 23:26:46

I have never liked Cameron but I felt sorry for him today, just as I did when the ghastly Thatcher left no 10 in tears, being stabbed in the back by friends as Cameron was must hurt so much

varian Sat 25-Jun-16 00:53:44

I don't like any of them but I wouldn'tbe surprised if Liam Fox emergesse from a smoke filled room

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 25-Jun-16 01:48:45

Rumour is Give wants to be Chancellor not PM.

WilmaKnickersfit Sat 25-Jun-16 01:49:19

*Gove blush

Leticia Sat 25-Jun-16 05:28:52

After what Gove did to education I would hate to have him in any top job.

missislippy The Brexit vote has not "just annoyed me"

It has very seriously damaged the value of the pound and the whole financial stability of Britain.

"Investors struggle to buy as trading volumes hit record levels
House prices to fall 5pc nationwide, more in London
The worst FTSE falls in history
'Buy gold' searches soar 500pc as sterling tumbles
£40bn wiped off British banks as Brexit vote sinks in.

Are you wealthy enough for this not to worry you? when costs of everything will soon be rising as the UK £drops

ANNIEBACH I though Cameron was the most genuine I have ever seen him today and showed real emotion . Pity that emotion was for himself and not for the mess he has left us in (rings a bell?) I shudder at the thought of Boris but am pretty sure he will be leader & Gove for Chancellor .

Jane10 Sat 25-Jun-16 08:08:11

Oh how can this be happening? How can we even be having to discuss these possibilities. I hoped I'd maybe feel a tiny bit better today but am even more gloomy. Ochone ochone (gaelic lament)

PRINTMISS Sat 25-Jun-16 08:20:15

I just wonder - do you think IDS might throw his hat in the ring?
Beware the quiet man. (not that I think we should be beware of him, it is just a saying).

mrsmopp Sat 25-Jun-16 08:33:04

Perhaps we could get Hilary to pop over and sort us out?
And Trump could have America!
I am trying to decide where to emigrate to. But hang on- nobody wants immigrants do they?
Can't help being flippant- this whole thing is driving me nuts confused
