Never underestimate the low intelligence of a lot of voters, Have you seen or talked to any ukip supporter that you feel have any brains! They let their tacky tattoos do the talking.

daphnedill Wed 29-Jun-16 11:23:40

@Blinko

I know it won't, but leaving the EU isn't going to solve that.

Anya Wed 29-Jun-16 12:19:31

Elitist claptrap tearing its ugly head again. Don't assume that because someone is racist they are all mentally deficient in some way. You underestimate at your own risk.

I don't know any tattooed thugs personally, but I do know quite a few professionals who hold racist views.

hulahoop Wed 29-Jun-16 12:54:53

Second that anya well said

daphnedill Wed 29-Jun-16 13:03:58

Too true! Nick Griffin went to Cambridge.

Somebody (can't remember who) wrote something similar on another thread (can't remember which).

Wilko Wed 29-Jun-16 13:28:15

I can't stand the fact that people abroad have got the idea that an idiot like him is speaking on behalf of the uk. What does that make us look like. I am so angry about this whole mess. All go and sign the on line petition and let's get this referendum result overturned

petra Wed 29-Jun-16 13:48:33

Well said Anya
Just a thought, Farage spoke and millions listened, Corbyn spoke and a lot less listened, mmm.

Sheilasue Wed 29-Jun-16 13:48:48

Don't want him down in London either nasty little stirrer

petra Wed 29-Jun-16 13:51:35

Samantha Camaron has a tatoo. But obviously not a tacky one.

Beammeupscottie Wed 29-Jun-16 14:02:58

I stand repimanded and apologise for a silly comment.

missislippy Wed 29-Jun-16 14:19:44

Napoleon sorry to see you go, but even sorrier to see the replies to your post .... how sad it is that people who lean to the left are usually the ones who are nastiest to others who disagree with them. Agree with me or you're an unintelligent racist bigot seems to be the mots du jour - whatever happened to democracy? The majority won the vote - live with it! Not all Labour supporters voted Leave and not all Tories voted Remain. I agree with leyburn that Farage is a good speaker and is not afraid to say what he thinks - unlike some others who change their tune more often than their underpants! angry

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 29-Jun-16 14:25:45

Napoleon why don't you stay and tell us what you like about Farage.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 29-Jun-16 14:25:55

"Napoleon not "Au revoir"
"Adieu"
(Wish I could say your contributions will be missed but I have only read this one hmm )"

Charming as ever Alea hmm

Luckygirl Wed 29-Jun-16 14:38:30

I deprecate his appalling bad manners. Makes me feel ashamed; but I am sure that the MEPs are aware that his approach is not shared by the majority of Brits, which ever way they voted. What a truly objectionable specimen of humanity he is.

Beammeupscottie Wed 29-Jun-16 14:43:14

He looks like the sort that poke you in the chest as they talk to you. I am not terribly bothered by him because I feel sure he is being "monitored".

grannyJillyT Wed 29-Jun-16 15:00:47

Have any of you ever met him? Do you believe in all the hype? sad

Anya Wed 29-Jun-16 15:01:14

Napoleon I totally disagree with your views, but I wish you didn't feel you had to go. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and often these are better talked through and discussed, argued and thrashed out.

starstella Wed 29-Jun-16 15:06:45

I don't like the man never have but he will appeal to some.Don't send him north we don't want him.

Synonymous Wed 29-Jun-16 15:39:52

missislippy thank you for your post. wine

I just hope Mr Farage enjoyed his speech at the European Parliament as much as I and many others enjoyed listening to it. He waited a long time for this moment and once again told them the truth.

Way to go Mr Farage!

petra Wed 29-Jun-16 15:54:36

Beameupscottie Did you see channel 4 news last Friday night? Worst case of finger poking I've ever seen. John Snow nearly took the woman's eye out.

petra Wed 29-Jun-16 15:59:49

Whether you love him or hate him, he's certainly given the smug elite of Brussels a wake up call.

missislippy Wed 29-Jun-16 16:01:11

Synonymous Thank you for your thanks. I didn't actually say that I agree with what Mr Farage says, but to paraphrase Evelyn Beatrice Hall "I may not agree with what he says, but I defend to the death his right to say it" ...... something which appears not to apply to many of the scribes on this forum! To each their own.

Joelsnan Wed 29-Jun-16 16:13:59

No wonder the Brussels burocracy were sneering and jeering when they are set to lose 15% or 1/7th (nearly) of their budget. With 28 member states for UK to contribute 15% (as stated by Merkel) the ones not paying much in are going to rebel at this loss.

petra Wed 29-Jun-16 16:22:16

Joelsnan I think they are just breathing a sigh of relief that the French aren't having an election 'till next year. Plenty of time to offer the French a few sweeteners.

Beammeupscottie Wed 29-Jun-16 16:24:27

Petra. I can't bear being poked. I once has a conversation with a woman who kept thumping her arm againt mine as we sat side by side. I'm an old woman and poking hurts.
