Corbyn is a very complex man, he constantly speaks of democracy yet has been close to Castro for years. A pacifist who called Hamas friends. A man who will not share a platform with Cameron because of the harm Cameron has done to this country yet has no problem mixing with terrorists . Who constantly surrounds himself with very young people , the average age of those women we spoke of a few days ago is eighteen. Obvious he likes young woman , his third wife is over twenty years younger .
I think he charms women, brings out their mothering instincts , plays the victim which causes women to rush to protect him.
Whatever, he will win the leadership, he will do all he can to get the Labour MP's who cannot support him deselected and replaced by the far left, he will not win a general election and the country will be governed by May for a long time, the vulnerable will still suffer but corbynites can get excited every PMQ for years when he condemns the Tory government .

Could Labour 'split'. Tom Watson calls off talks.
(1001 Posts)It is being reported Labour Deputy Leader Tom Watson has called off 'talks's with the Unions/Len McCluskey over Jeremy Corbyns future and refusal to 'stand down'. He is being reported as saying 'There is no realistic prospect of reaching a compromise'
Obvious signs have been there , (noted from the beginning of Corbyn becoming leader for political anoraks) but is this perhaps a challenge that 'if' it does happen might just 'split' Labour into the Parliamentary Labour Party and another group finally calling themselves 'Momentum' as an official opposition party?
There have been a few voices suggesting a Labour Leadership challenge could happen on Monday 'maybe' they are correct.
Interesting to watch.
Oops sorry, the above is my opinion.
I see that one of corbyns supporters, Marsha Jane thompson has a conviction for electoral fraud. This was in 2006 when she was a housing officer at Newham council.
Useful person to have on side?
Bet MI5 set her up
Goodness me obione, I didn't realise I had gone on to a list of Corbyn supporters. I think I have posted twice on this thread and very little on any other. Your powers of recall are excellent.
nightowl You obviously didn't know obieone in her previous life on here. She 'logs' everything.
Same here nightowl. I do follow political threads but have little time to post. Does this mean I am on a black (Corbyn) list. I would like to state that I have no previous convictions either, nor am I under 18.
More's the pity!
Anniebach what on earth has Nick Griffen to do with this? Eisen comes to his conclusions after extensive research, are you saying he has no right to do such research or no right to reach the conclusions he has? I would regard both of those as restrictions on free speech. By all means disagree with him but don't compare him with someone like Griffen.
The information about Palestine he discovered has been largely suppressed. Israel constantly alleges that the land they occupied was scrub and desert and uncultivated, in actual fact villages were obliterated and people massacred.
Obeoine you have named 8 Corbyn supporters, but on this page alone there are 7 anti-Corbynites, so we are probably outnumbered
Nick Griffin has the same rights to freedom of speech as Eisen. One persons holocaust denier is another persons holocaust questioner .
Yes but you brought Griffen in, his beliefs are based on racial prejudice, something it is difficult to accuse Eisen of given the fact that he is Jewish. It was an attempt to blacken Eisen and it was unnecessary. Eisen calls himself a holocaust denier based on some conclusions he has reached, disagree with him by all means but do so from an accurate and informed point of view not by linking him to someone like Griffen- that smacks of desperation.
I will link together who over I choose , both are holocaust deniers , their reasons for their denial may be different but they are both deniers . This is my opinion and my free speech
I am still mulling over the evidence against Corbyn and his "culture of bullying" which he is said to be promoting. I do want to back a politician with integrity, but I have been very disappointed as it looks as if they are few and far between these days. Those opposing Corbyn haven't exactly covered themselves in glory either. I cannot see how Owen Smith can be sincere when in a previous life he acted as a lobbyist for two (I think) pharmaceutical companies and spoke against cheaper generic drugs in NHS after he was elected. There are many stronger and more experienced candidates in the PLP so I wonder why they are not standing.
Anniebach as Eisen is Jewish couldn't comparing him with Griffen be seen as anti-semitism? (just asking).
Lazigirl they are all keeping their heads down and hoping something will happen so that they can suddenly step forward and make it to the leadership unopposed (after all it worked for Theresa May)!
No trisher, but you are claiming a Jew who is a holocaust denier is acceptable but s man who is a holocaust denier but not a Jew is not acceptable, I disagree, a holocaust denier is a holocaust denier regardless of race or faith .
Lazigirl, in my opinion Corbyn is not promoting bullying but he is encouraging it by his close links with momentum . He needs momentum so ignores their bullying . He has even said those who are being bullied should rise above it, for me this is not condemning the bullies but s criticism of the bullied ,
Again ab I agree with you! A holocaust denier is a holocaust denier, no matter who they are, or what race or religion they belong to! How could they not be?! I also agree about Corbyn and his young followers. I just can't understand what his agenda is? To deliberately put the opposition into such a position as to potentially make it unelectable seems quite mad, and so bad for democracy. All governments need a strong opposition to bring them up with a jerk if needs be, but short of a miracle that's not going to happen. It's not good, not good at all!
We are on a run niggly
I do find him surrounding himself with young girls disturbing .
Yes to deny the holocaust cannot be excused . I think the treatment of the Palastinians by Israel so wrong and I honour the many who died in the holocaust . To claim a person is just questioning the holocaust after all the world has learned of the horrors which happened seventy years ago is something I cannot accept.
Yes a strong opposition is so needed but no hope of this unless the SNP take over or Corbyn puts the party before self
Has Corbyn ever claimed he hears voices? Just a thought. Sometimes, people who do things that cannot be properly understood, will later say that they heard voices and were told to do a or b or whatever.
Obviously it could be other things such as people are taking advantage of his "weakness" in not standing up to people, so they are running amok.
I am not a supporter of Corbyn. However, I'm not going to sit by while he's accused of something which he almost certainly didn't do in the case of Paul Eisen. Unless anybody can come up with real proof that Corbyn had close links with Eisen (not just from Daily Mail claims), I'm inclined to believe the following:
The most shocking accusation, originating with The Daily Mail, is that Corbyn has “long standing links” with Paul Eisen, a “notorious” Holocaust denier involved in the group Deir Yassin Remembered.
Eisen certainly expresses disgusting views, denying the Nazi Holocaust took place and frequently expressing other anti-Semitic opinions on his blog.
However, his only real notoriety is for his attempts to infiltrate the Palestine solidarity movement.
Once it became clear what his views were, he was widely condemned and shunned by a movement which is fundamentally anti-racist in its basic principles. Indeed, even in the blog post which the Mail relied on as the source for its smear, Eisen admits that the movement has long “despised me.”
The only real link between the two men (as the Mail conveniently omitted) is that Eisen happens to live in Corbyn’s Islington parliamentary constituency in North London.
Eisen claims to have met him in that capacity – as Corbyn is his member of parliament. It is nonetheless odd that the Mail would be so keen to take the word of a Holocaust denier when it comes to his relationship with Corbyn.
Jeremy Corbyn at the 2012 PSC conference where a Holocaust denier was expelled from the membership. Tony Greenstein
A photograph has been produced of a memorial event which the Mail claims was run by Eisen. However, as this 2013 email sent out by the Palestinian Authority’s UK Mission shows, there was nothing in the advertising about the Holocaust and nothing naming Eisen. There were certainly no links to his blog.
Indeed, even on the Deir Yassin Remembered website, Eisen is not named on the contact page, the About page or the Board of Advisors page.
The page misleadingly includes several people as advisors who resigned after some of the the group’s troubling associations became clear.
This includes the Palestinian-American novelist Susan Abulhawa, who stepped down after Eisen wrote an anti-Semitic post on his blog.
The site of an infamous historical massacre of Palestinian civilians, Deir Yassin was a Palestinian village invaded and destroyed by Zionist militias before the establishment of Israel.
Corbyn was therefore not the only person misled by Deir Yassin Remembered, as detailed in recent blog posts by long standing Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) activists Diane Langford and Tony Greenstein.
The Jewish Socialist journalist Charlie Pottins recounts on his blog the real story of Paul Eisen’s transformation. As he puts it: “if Jeremy Corbyn attended annual events commemorating the Deir Yassin massacre, where is the evidence that he or anybody else at these events thought they were there to support Holocaust denial?”
Finally, it’s worth noting that, as Greenstein recounts, Corbyn was present, as PSC patron, at the 2012 PSC conference where a Holocaust denier was expelled by a massive majority.

Many British Jews have criticised the Jewish Chronicle for trying to link Corbyn with Eisen:
Dozens of prominent anti-Israel activists have signed an open letter attacking the JC for highlighting of Jeremy Corbyn’s links to antisemites and Holocaust deniers.
It follows the publication last week of seven key questions for Mr Corbyn to answer regarding his alleged ties to Holocaust denier Paul Eisen, his defence of controversial Anglican vicar Stephen Sizer, and support for blood libel cleric Raed Salah. Mr Corbyn has also previously called Hamas and Hezbollah “friends”.
Signatories to the letter include Tony Greenstein, Professor Haim Bresheeth, Abe Hayeem, Miriam Margolyes, Professor Ilan Pappe and Michael Rosen.
It states: “Your assertion that your attack on Jeremy Corbyn is supported by ‘the vast majority of British Jews’ is without foundation. We do not accept that you speak on behalf of progressive Jews in this country. You speak only for Jews who support Israel, right or wrong.
"There is something deeply unpleasant and dishonest about your McCarthyite guilt by association technique. Jeremy Corbyn’s parliamentary record over 32 years has consistently opposed all racism including antisemitism.
"Jeremy Corbyn has nothing to apologise for in his meetings with representatives of Hamas and Hizbollah. Hamas was democratically elected in Palestinian elections generally accepted as fair, and Hezbollah also has strong electoral support in Lebanon.
"You report Paul Eisen as saying that Jeremy Corbyn donated to Deir Yassin Remembered. So did many people before discovering the existence of antisemites and Holocaust-deniers in the organisation. Many people attended the occasional fundraising concert that DYR organised, without either knowing of or sympathising with Mr Eisen’s views.
"As supporters of Israel, perhaps you agree with the racist statements of Israeli government ministers such as Eli Dahan that Jews have higher souls than non-Jews? Or Miri Regev’s belief that asylum seekers are a ‘cancer’? Or, would this be guilt by association, as in your character assassination of Jeremy Corbyn?"

Daphne, do you not think Corbyn is misled rather often . He has attended DYR services ,surely he knew DYR had been condemned by pro Palistian groups as racists.
I now wonder if Corbyn still thinks he is eighteen , he certainly behaves like an eighteen year old Rebel
I doubt he hears voices obieone
but he needs to grow up
I think some of us have thought he was an 18 year old rebel[and dare I mention the clothes] for quite some time.
I'm not a Corbyn supporter, but in this case I think he's being smeared. No, he wouldn't necessarily have known that DYR had been condemned as racist. If you've read the original link I posted, you would know that the Israelis have tried to cover up the massacres of 1948. It's a fact that they have. My father was in Palestine at the time and one of his cousins was murdered by Zionist extremists, but the Israeli government have tried to airbrush it all from the history books. DYR poses as a group to remember the massacre at Deir Yassin. As the letter signed by Michael Rosen and Miriam Margolyes amonst others says:
"You report Paul Eisen as saying that Jeremy Corbyn donated to Deir Yassin Remembered. So did many people before discovering the existence of antisemites and Holocaust-deniers in the organisation. Many people attended the occasional fundraising concert that DYR organised, without either knowing of or sympathising with Mr Eisen’s views."
And don't forget that the Jewish Chronicle and Daily Mail only have Paul Eisen's word that Corbyn donated.
Daphne , DYR were branded racist in 2007, Corbyn attended s meeting in 2013 .
