Well, there's loads of flashing Christmas lights round here.
I've given up on who is right/wrong, who's supporting whom, whether there's any truth in the accusations of antisemiticism, etc etc. It's all playground politics.
I don't actually care who is the 'purest' socialist and I'm fed up with policies without any clear plans.
What I do care about is that the country is going through the biggest change that most of us will have known in our lifetimes. We have a government which doesn't seem to think anything is off limits and, quite frankly, doesn't seem very competent.
I don't think most people want whats happening, but there's no realistic alternative. Everybody seems to be running round like headless chickens. The Labour Party should be challenging what's happening, but they're not. That's why they need a decent spin doctor, who knows how to communicate with the press and stop the government from runningthe agenda. For all Blair's faults, he must be so frustrated by it all, because he did know (at least in the beginning) how to read what the public wanted.
