Biggest political hypocrite 2016

Some political bloggers, whatever their political leanings, are informed and talk with knowledge and understanding on political matters - even if I do not agree with the conclusions they reach.

Some like this one, display such ignorance that their views do not deserve any serious consideration from anyone.

I find it quite fun that there are over two hundred posts on a thread that you think deserves 'no serious consideration from anyone.'

I did not say the thread deserved no consideration. It has triggered an interesting discussion. I said a discussion about the names on the list that triggered the discussion were not worth wasting any time on because the behaviour that led to the blogger putting them on the list were not examples of hypocrisy, a word he clearly doesn't understand the meaning of.

On the other hand there has been an interesting discussion about the extent that Jeremy Corbyn, who may in every other facet of his personality be a sea green incorruptible, to be held up as an example to children for generations to come, but is undoubtedly a hypocrite

Farage is an innocent compared to Corbyn , he hasn't the slyness of Corbyn .

I think Farage is a hypocrite and a parasite.

I'm not going to spend any more time squabbling about whether Farage or Corbyn is the bigger hypocrite. IMHO the only person, with whom Farage could be considered an innocent would be Beelzebub. He knows exactly what he's doing and appears to have no conscience at all. In any case, Corbyn wasn't on the list - maybe somebody should ask Guido (or somebody) to come up with a similar poll with different names. Yep, Farage is a worthy winner, although he'll probably demand a recount and/or claim it's not fair and is an establishment set-up, if past form is any indication.

Am with Monica and others on this, for definition of true hypocrite Corbyn wins hands down.Farage is considerably more upfront with his views, in fact doesn't hide what he wants at all, and doesn't fit the bill of hypocrite.He may fit the bill of something else, but that's a different matter.

Farage's greatest skill is to be able to fool people, so they don't realise what a hypocrite he is.

No, that's not quite true, ab. People were waiting for Corbyn to say something. He then made some kind of speech, saying he had reservations about the EU, but on balance he supported remaining (can't remember his exact words). Going on holiday was probably the best thing he could have done. Nobody took any notice of 'experts' and 'celebs'. They weren't going to take any notice of him and he would probably have given the media more oxygen to criticise him.
