That's a bum, can anyone cut and paste or something the manifesto that took me blood sweat and tears to do this morning please!!!???

GracesGranMK2 Fri 12-May-17 19:57:32

I hadn't seen the Adam Bolton one but it just sums up what the journalists are doing, trivialising the LP guests and not calling the Tory ones to account. If that is not biased I don't know what is. With that and giving more time to UKIP than the Greens and there needs to be some calling to account. I know Adam Bolton is from Sky but they are all doing the same.

I think it's strange that people who come out with "far left" as a criticism, can't explain what they actually mean.

rosesarered Fri 12-May-17 21:32:41

Am sure they can do dd ( I already have) but maybe posters feel they know what they mean and shouldn't have to 'explain it'.

whitewave Fri 12-May-17 21:34:23

dd I can explain what I mean by hard right if you prefergrin

rosesarered Fri 12-May-17 21:38:04

Hard left and hard right probably mean different things to different people, for instance, what would it mean to a Marxist? As opposed to a normal Labour voter.

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 21:42:54

Go on then roses! Explain your definitions!

I know exactly how I define hard right, although I've never given a definition on here. I have briefly posted some of my background. Maybe you missed it.

Go on roses! This is my challenge to you. Contribute to a real and rational discussion about political theory. I might even take anything you write seriously.

rosesarered Fri 12-May-17 21:43:24

Also, if far left is used as a criticism, then far right certainly is too.
That's why the UK is a moderate country where politics is concerned, nobody much likes either extreme.

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 21:43:35

Go on, *roses! Start talking sense!

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 21:44:05

Go on! Start talking sense!

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 21:44:22

I'm being kind.

Chewbacca Fri 12-May-17 21:47:15

You're not being kind daphne, you're being very unkind. And you know that.

rosesarered Fri 12-May-17 21:49:25

I have no interest at all in your background daphnedil nor any interest in responding to your demands.Find another mug poster for those sort of tactics.
You claim to be a Lib Dem voter now, so why on earth are you championing the far left ( Corbyn) and his manifesto.Surely if you really thought like that you would be voting Labour.
I don't take much seriously that you contribute tbh.

Ana Fri 12-May-17 22:08:48

I think most of us have read your 'background' posts daphnedill.

In fact you've probably revealed more than you remember.

What it's got to do with politics I have no idea...

Anniebach Fri 12-May-17 22:34:53

Daphne, you were a teacher, put your babies in childcare, live in the second most richest parts of the England, hsve great pride in your male ancestors who unlike the miners worked their out of manual work.,you now tutor but you did refuse to say when asked when you did this because you post , Google and paste throughout the dsy. You are divorced, am very poor, have earned just enough this year to put you in the tax bracket, have two, pensions, and your breast pleasure seems to be mocking posters.

Chewbacca is right, you were very unkind to Rosesarered, I tend to see it as bullying too.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 22:37:23

Does anyone know any EU citizens who might want to vote?

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 22:45:02

Yeah! Whatever annie! I don't care what you think. I'm too much of a lady to say what I think of you.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 22:47:14

thegreatcritique.wordpress.com/2017/05/12/completing-churchills-thought-vote-for-corbyn/

Reasons to vote labour.

Anniebach Fri 12-May-17 22:56:06

Sorry Daphne, you are no lady, you put posters down. I couldn't care less what you think of me, if you did post it then it would be so long I wouldn't bother to read it. I think though by your many put down posts it is obvious what you think of me, but your opinion of me doesn't interest or concern me.

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 22:56:10

Unfortunately, they won't be persuade dj. They're too much up their own backsides and think they're right.

The only way they'll be persuaded is when their own purses are hit - and even then, they'll probably blame somebody other than themselves.

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 22:57:33

No, chewbacca, I'm not being unkind. Maybe you should reead the back history and see what I've had to put up with.

Chewbacca Fri 12-May-17 22:58:08

A "lady" isn't unkind or cruel daphne. You have been both towards Roses.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 23:01:59

What sort of bacca do you chew?

Like daphne says, you haven't seen the half of it.

durhamjen Fri 12-May-17 23:03:34

And what a weird comment - a "lady"? What on earth does that mean, in inverted commas?

Do you want to be a "lady", daphne?

daphnedill Fri 12-May-17 23:10:57

I am a lady. grin

I was brought up not to be rude. I will argue my case rationally. Enough said!

Poverty has not changed the person I am.

Maybe you would prefer me to let it all hang out and say what what I really think - unfortunately, I don't think GN would approve! wink

Chewbacca Fri 12-May-17 23:12:36

What sort of bacca do you chew. How old are you* Durham*? 6? Grow up for heavens sake. The reason for my putting the word lady in inverted commas was to highlight ridiculousness of referring to oneself as a lady, especially in view of the spite and malice directed are Roses in that particular incident.

Like daphne said, you haven't seen the half of it. Are you sure about that, Durham? Do you not think that I might actually have read all of the posts on this thread?
