This thread has now deteriorated into insults to other members and unprovoked, very personal insults to the leader of the Labour Party. There's no point in trying to reason with you Saak when everyone else is deluded or makes your skin crawl and even in your opinion doesn't wash. This is playground talk and doesn't belong on a Forum for adults.

The labour manifesto proposals have been fully costed unlike the Tory manifesto as orhers have said in this thread. The science of economics means that a small financial investment gives greater benefit to the economy (through the multiplier effect). Cuts and austerity create unintended consequences. (For example cutting PIP payments means disabled people are less independent so have to rely more on state benefits in the long term.) The right wing press do not understand basic principles of economics.

A manifesto that states they need to listen to the normal folk now rather than a delusional promise works for me.

Nobody has ever stopped me saying I'm English, saak, wherever I have lived, so I really don't recognise the country you're describing. I'm sorry if you have had a different experience.

It was a very stupid question. What on earth does a reporter think a politician is doing travelling around the country and talking to people during an election campaign? It's a pretty normal thing for politicians to do...Or it certainly used to be...
