I have just seen the Fails front pageshock

Is this designed to intimidate academic freedom? The thought police are looming large and it is disgraceful assault on our universities.

Academic freedom in this country has always been gold standard. Is the Fail threatening this alongside freedom of expression?

And identifying lefties with remainers is too simplistic by half. Quite

Always freshly ground - helps keep a spring in my step, but I must admit I like the sound of bourbob!

May move onto a fruity crisp white a little later this evening wine

Primrose ? I always have a custard cream.

This article sounds a bit of a damp squib, no reason to worry about it at all.

So what is new about Universities containing "lefties"? It has always been traditional for students to favour the less "conservative" parties (without a capital C). College heads were all students once, long ago, and some of them have not changed their politics, surprise surprise.

The Daily Fail would have made news out of the same number of heads being "righties", and even more about any who conspicuously changed sides.
