Perhaps someone can explain why it’s fine to come on a thread to say in effect that it’s boring and sending you to sleep? If I said that I’d be in for another good kicking. FWIW I think there are some incredibly boring threads on here - or to be more accurate- ones that don’t interest me at all but I don’t go on them and say that.

Kate/Catherine/Dutchess of cambridges' accent has changed beyond recognition in only a few years though, not over a period of 20 years or more ( which perhaps you could expect) Apparently ( well according to Mr Google) she didn't speak posh enough so her step mother in law organised for her to have some lessons . now her accent is so false and so much plummier than her husband and granny in law. Hope they've got a good teacher ready for MM.

HM's voice has changed too - if you listen to her speech to the nation when she was Princess Elizabeth she sounds much less 'posh' now than she was then.
