Corbyns unknown peace prize was in the Mail today apparently. He joins a long list of people awarded peace prizes you've never heard of. Like the Confucius Peace Prize won by Mugabe.

Perhaps you would like to critique what I posted rather than having a feeble attempt a sarcasm Bridgeit. Of course, it you have a problem with inappropriate laughter I apologise for thinking you were trying to be sarcastic and sympathise with you.

Maizie, rather like asking a vegetarian - would you like beef or lamb

Bridgeit Mon 08-Jan-18 18:29:56

I think JC alienates alot of potential Labour voters ,because of the ambiguity of his past. There are an awful lot of voters who do not avidly follow politics & therefore do not necessarily have in depth understanding of his political past & his chosen affiliations, subsequently making them wary of supporting him with a vote in a GE.

Maizie, rather like asking a vegetarian - would you like beef or lamb

Why? All Maizie is asking is what policies do you want the LP to offer. It can't be that difficult for someone who professes to be a Labour Party member, surely?

The definition of socialism is the owning of the means of production, distribution and exchange by the community it's been tried many times and has always failed. Corbyn said Venezuela has shown us another way. My question is don't you think he said this because at the time he was convinced it was the way he intended to go. As for the Labour manifesto it involved massive borrowing therefore massively increasing the public debt this debt will fall on the shoulders of our grandchildren. like I've said he bends any which way.

weownit.org.uk/how-to-nationalise-regionalise-localise

We own lots of stuff as it is, and it's being taken away from us.
Nothing wrong with wanting it back. Unless you are a Tory, of course.

Wally Mon 08-Jan-18 19:14:52

How to survive a no confidence vote ignoring the activists and the majority of the party. Flood your party with the extreme left as members and on a one member one vote basis you'll be bound to come out on top.

Wally Mon 08-Jan-18 19:16:11

But It's always failed.

Primrose65 Mon 08-Jan-18 19:17:29

Why not start a 'what should Labour Policy be' thread, if that's what you want to discuss.
This is a thread about Corbyn and Momentum.
No idea why you think it's OK to start demanding posters answer your questions - especially you, GG, as you said that it was bullying when you were asked a question.

Wally Mon 08-Jan-18 19:24:51

I think we've reached the end we're getting absolutely nowhere fast. If anyone who has been posting is a Labour party member it would explain a lot. No one ever answers any point I make which makes me think they have no answers. The trouble Corbyns got is this, I'm only a simple man and if I can see through him so can a lot of others. Bye bye.

durhamjen Mon 08-Jan-18 19:30:36

Isn't that the second time you've left this thread, Wally - or the third?

You are the one who won't say what policies you want, even though you say you are a member and have a vote for or against Corbyn.
You and Annie.
Many members are quite happy with the manifesto they got, which is why Corbyn is in power.

MaizieD Mon 08-Jan-18 19:33:20

I think we've reached the end we're getting absolutely nowhere fast.

The whole thread's been going nowhere right from the start. It was just a moan and a pisstake about Corbyn.

Excuse me if I was trying to divert it into something a bit more positive.

Wally Mon 08-Jan-18 19:35:27

This really is the end, I have never said repeat never said that I am a member of any party. Over and out.

Primrose65 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:01:20

Maizie, no one is forcing you to read or contribute. There are plenty of threads on many different topics. If you don't like this one, start another about something you find more interesting.
As it stands, we'll be onto thread 3 soon!
Plenty of life left in moaning/pisstaking of Corbyn et al.

durhamjen Mon 08-Jan-18 20:02:20

Again, Wally?

whitewave Mon 08-Jan-18 20:05:49

primrose much more meat on the Tory piss taking though.

There is so much incompetence and uselessness it’s difficult to keep up.

Primrose65 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:12:58

Yet you still find time to drag yourself away from the Tory piss take threads. They need your insightful wit, ww - get posting!

Jalima1108 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:13:57

Corbyn's Torque?

whitewave Mon 08-Jan-18 20:15:01

I’m having a breather.

Jalima1108 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:17:03

not in the greenhouse I hope

Primrose65 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:20:04

I love it Jalima !!! A fabulous word play on the science of twisting and moments grin

whitewave Mon 08-Jan-18 20:20:21

grin

whitewave Mon 08-Jan-18 20:21:17

Oh dear primrose I think you will find that 2+2 does not equal 5

Primrose65 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:28:39

I think you'll find it does, ww, for large values of 2.

GracesGranMK2 Mon 08-Jan-18 20:29:19

Wally you don't really want to know what anyone else think just keep repeating your definition of socialism.

Several people have pointed out that you are only talking about revolutionary socialism not democratic socialism. The word "democratic" is a clue. Democratic socialists seek to promote social justice within the framework of a capitalist economy - usually a mixed economy. If you cannot accept that you are just crying wolf about something that is nothing to do with they Labour Party.
