It doesn't at the moment but hopefully things could change in the future.

And it is between me and my conscience how I vote - even if it is wasted. I do care but would rather spoil my ballot paper than vote for Corbyn.

Just couldn’t do it Trisher., he has & is taking the Labour Party in a direction I can’t agree with. It is the duty of the Labour Party to recognise this & act accordingly , rock & a hard place I think.

How the Russians will be cheering. They want to undermine our system of government and here you are enabling this process.
Does that mean we all have to get behind Theresa May and the Tories and Corbyn and Momentum?

I think that being able to criticise the leader of a party is part of our system of government; stifling free speech and opposition is what happens in Russia.

Therefore, logically, any attempt to stifle opinions about Corbyn on here would be enabling the process surely?

It is said Russia 'influenced' the EU Referendum .

It is said Russia 'influenced' the American Elections.

It is said Russia ' influenced' the German Elections.

Why not say Russia might have therefore ' influenced ' the UK Elections in favour of a party and a politician they feel closer to?

POGs I have no idea who was responsible for the actions in Salisbury. The fact that the nerve gas was originally Russian may link it to Putin's government but there all sorts of other possibilities. What I object to is a knee jerk reaction from the government, designed only to deflect from their abominable record and establish Theresa as the new saviour of the nation. And whoever did it it was damned convenient. Have you seen anything about the despicable free school meals deal with the DUP on the news?

There are a lot of Labour politicians who, I understand, feel the same.

If we're talking about a popular 'celebrity' competition, then the rather dour Keir Starmer would not win - but he does appear to have the qualities that would make a good leader imo.
If anyone is talking about 'celebrity', then it seems to me that there is rather a 'cult' around Jeremy Corbyn which I and many others do not subscribe to.

However, I could probably spend a nice afternoon down on the allotment with him, or getting some tips on jam-making, or chatting about his mum.

Lots of people sort of support the opposition -
Often the government of the day goes too far or veers off course, so come a GE, people vote for the party they think will put the country to rights again.

Some voters even sort of support other parties too, but are prepared to listen to all sides and are not blinkered.

That's why we don't end up with the same party in power all the time.

I am a long time member of the Labour Party and remain so , I support Welsh Labour , if good Labour MP's are de selected I will leave the party . So I do not sort of support the party I have worked for for over fifty years ,I support it fully, I do not, will not, cannot, support Corbyn and pray he will never be PM , if he does it will be the death of the Labour Party and the first communist government in the U.K.
