What has all your years if LP membership taught you?
Mine is that members are caring fighters for social justice.

If you explain how you have got to that point Annie, someone may be able to give you and answer. As it stands it doesn't appear to be logical.

If it is there Annie the only way to deal with it is to "out" the people who are anti-semitic. Nothing else will work. So let's not argue about who said what, let's start getting rid of the anti-semites. Let's make the party you love as clean and open as possible.

I find it very strange that people are trying to use antisemitism against Corbyn using a response he made in 2012, when the idea of being labour leader had probably not even crossed his mind. He'd never been anything other than a backbencher, and probably expected to retire as a backbencher.

People who do not like Corbyn's ideals are using this as a reason to show him as being untruthful and not fit to be a leader.

If I truly believed that the LP is as bad as being said, I would resign immediately.

It is extremely odd that on a day there is talk from the Conservatives about the NHS this - a comment about a mural that was taken down six years ago and a comment made at the same time is heading the news, particularly on the BBC. I don't know about conspiracy theories but my view of the Beeb has gone down several notches.

The Chomsky book sounds interesting whitewave.

Corbyn took part in the Cable Street remembrance march in 2016. He spoke movingly about how his mum has taken part in the original march and how important it is to continue the fight against hate in all its forms.
How many Tories marched and spoke at that meeting?

Pride goes on to outline the Tory supporters/members in the Board of Deputies of British Jews. And how they have supported the DUP, whom they describe as exceptionally warm and friendly.

I bet the BBC do report it. I'm sure people will be enlightened when they see a pro-Corbyn group holding an 'emergency rally', shouting down people protesting against antisemitism. When they report it you can call it a 'smear'.

Totally agree with that quote above from Chris Mullen. The Labour Party is a very tolerant, open minded party made up of people who support the under-privileged and minority groups.
If you want to look for racism of all types then investigate the Tory party.

Primrose oh the outrage on here and the denials that there is no problem within the LP even though Corbyn has just admitted that there is !
I think it may have been an eye opener for readers on GN to see all the far left huffing and puffing.

This is purely personal but I am so disappointed in the BBC.

On DP they showed what they were told viewers was what JC would have seen on the FB page. On a huge screen they just showed just the table and the people seated round it. So you crop the picture and show it on a large screen and tell the world that was what he saw on FB. I don't think so. The BBC is rapidly becoming the voice of the right-wing, Israeli government supporting, voice of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

Thank heavens for people like the Jewish lady who was prepared to go there and stand up to them.
