Allygran1, what right do you have to tell another poster who is ‘ expressing their opinion’ to verify their ‘opinion’or remove it ? I think you will find that, that is a decision for GN officials. It’s a bit over the top , Could you not have just asked for more facts or details ?

Did you know that the U.K. is hosting a summit in London next week with a number of countries discussing why they should JOIN the Eu!

"What evidence do you have for that these trading agreements would be easy to negotiate? It is expected to take up to ten years! And what evidence do you have that trade with the rest of the world would be more profitable than now?
What assurances do you have that health and safety standards would be the same as now or better?
Tell us how many extra visas would be demanded by these new international trade partners.
We already have a huge surplus in trade with the rest of the world. What are the projected revenues post Brexit?

Well I find it a bit over the top for any poster on an Opinions forum to tell another to remove an opinions comment (unless it is a personal derogatory one, in which case it is fair enough)

Asking someone to verify/ expand/ explain a comment/ statement is fine, but IMO it is not for any of use to tell another to withdraw a comment. A bit over the top & dictatorial.

Posters who have different views are not blindly believing or doing anything else, they simply have different views.
Two years on from the referendum and posters are still frothing about the result.

Under any rules that is unacceptable. No apology this time, this was a post too far. As far as I am concerned. There are clever posts which one has a secret admiration for. The post in question with loosely veiled hints at things like racism are neigh clever nor acceptable in a modern society.

Bridgeit perhaps you might like to read the post that just came on from Mostlyharmless. She has accused me of being liar. Now what would you like me to respond to that. I will not resort to name calling but to be frank it really is disgraceful.

Yes, it’s disgraceful, and a bit pathetic that it’s still trotted out.
I take it that posters who say it don’t have anything constructive to say really, so fall back on it.
It’s one thing to ponder what form of deal we will do and another to harp on about the result of the referendum.

I wonder if posters go to pieces every time we have a General Election and the Party they voted for didn’t get in?
Yes, leaving the EU is a more momentous event than a GE but the principle is the same, being angry with others for daring to hold another viewpoint.

Lemongrove it makes me feel really sad to hear that this sort of race card is being used at all. In a modern society on an open opinion forum that that sort of thing is being said with all it's implied conations for leave voters in general.

We are a multicultural, multiracial society and that enhances our society.

I have nothing but admiration for all of you who have had to put up with this sort of thing. Your ability to stick to the topic's is praiseworthy.

Can a person be gullible or manipulative. I think gullible implies a misplaced trust which is shame on others to take advantage of that, whilst manipulative implies a degree of sinister cleverness. Neither of which I am pleased to say apply to me.

Although I have not seen any gullibility on any of these postings so far, but their is a lot of what can only be described as a Master class in manipulative propaganda from some.

The rest of the postings are very informative and offer great debate and I have learned a lot over the past five days since I joined.
