I see no reason for you to understand my position regarding the Labour Party trisher.
Orchids and other lovely plants that don’t need a lot of attention
With an open attack on Theresa Mays handling of the Brexit negotiations many in the media believe that Jacob Rees-Mogg has made his first open move in a bid to become Conservative party leader and Britain's next Prime Minister.
Rees-Mogg in yet another of his ongoing interviews with the media lambasted "weak" Theresa May for preparing the UK for "Brexit failure". Rees-Mogg stated that with The British negotiators going into each set of negotiations with an attitude of "we will kowtow before you, Mr Barnier in every way you possible throughout these talks" there is no hope of success for the UK. The foregoing are undoubtedly harsh words indeed even from an arch hard line Brexitier, but many believe that there is far more to Rees-Moggs words than just Brexit.
It may well be that this hard line right wing politician has witnessed the way that Jeremy Corbyn has moved the Labour party to the left and now feels he could carry out the same in the Conservative party with the exception of that move being in the opposite direction in regards to political ground.
Evidence to the above can be seen in Rees-Moggs attack on Scottish Conservative Leader Ruth Davison, for in the same interview he stated that Davison should not be allowed to marry her longtime same sex partner as planned. However, same sex marriage legislation was put before parliament and passed in 2013 under the David Cameron coalition government.
In making the above comment Rees-Mogg is undoubtedly looking to damage Ruth Davison, who also is seen as a possible next leader of the Conservative party. That stated, it is also being seen as a move against centre ground Concervatives in parliament.
In the above can be seen shades of Momentum's original moves against centre Blairite MPs in the Labour party.
I see no reason for you to understand my position regarding the Labour Party trisher.
I haven't made a contribution to this thread as I don't feel I have sufficient knowledge of the subject, but have been following it and find it unsettling that some posters appear to not only be making assumptions about those who, presumably, they have never met but are also making veiled insults. Is it not possible to have a civilised debate without resorting to the behaviour of the playground.
Then you shouldn't expect anyone to understand Annie. So actually any argument you make about being a labour supporter can only be considered in the context of all the other posts you make in support of the Tory party and its members.
Have I asked anyone to understand trisher? Certaintly not you, and you may as well give up on the ‘you support the tories’ so overdone
It’s quite simple trisher ( but you already know that)
Annie has always supported the LP but after reviewing the situation when Corbyn took over ( or rather Momentum took over) she now feels that until the LP get themselves a new and more moderate Leader, that she is without a party to support. She has stated this position, many, many times, so all the ‘nah nah nah, you’re a Tory’ stuff is just a juvenile
Insult.
Am putting this for the benefit of any GNer who claims they don’t know, but most people do know, who post on the politics pages.
Anniebach is one of many LP supporters who will not vote that way whilst Corbyn is the Leader.
Thank you lemon ?
Amusing the two who keep on with the -you support the tories and defend Corbyn ferociously are not even Labour Party members, proof in my opinion the difference between Labour Party members and the Corbyn/Momentum Party.
That's fine as far as it goes lemon but it doesn't really tell us a lot does it? It's a bit like you asking me what colour I am wearing and me saying "Well it's not blue or pink." You stilll woudn't know, or have an answer to your question. Anniehasn't just condemned Corbyn, she has also posted her dislike of unions and many other things that are the core of the labour movement. If she is Labour as she claims to be it would be good to see an occasional post that shows some support for them.
Not amusing at all ab just based on the evidence. When you’re prepared to make a criticism of this disgraceful government I’ll take your posts seriously but you are completely silent on their policies and attacks on the poor and vulnerable in our society and can only see politics through your obsessive hatred of JC. You have some strange Tory bedfellows as your fans on here
And WTF do you mean about the difference between LP members and the C/M Party?
Yes anniebatch, if you on occasion were to post in support some Labour policies or some trade union action I believe many would feel that you had at least some affiliation to the Labour movement.
However, you link everything to Jeremy Corbyn and he is not the entire Labour movement. If you do not like Corbyn as leader of the Parliamentary party fight for change from within, if as you claim you have a fifty year membership of that party.
Nothing was ever accomplished by moaning about any matter on forums such as this.
anniebatch,
been batch baking again Anniebach?
Nothing was ever accomplished by moaning about any matter on forums such as this.
I agree Grandad - and all your wishing on this forum will not make Jacob Rees-Mogg into Prime Minister.
So, both together now anniebach:-
Moggy, Moggy, Moggy, Oy, Oy, Oy
It is half-term folks!
Is there an INSet day tomorrow as well?
You have some strange Tory bedfellows as your fans on here
And not just posters who vote Tory - some may vote Lib Dem.
The one thing everyone does seem to have in common is that they dislike bullying.
some may vote Lib Dem.
and would vote Labour again when Momentum loses its grip.
Nothing was ever accomplished by moaning about any matter on forums such as this.
so why are you posting Grandad?
For me it’s not about voting intention but about comment on specific policies
Jalima1108, anniebach remains on this forum throughout almost every day raising one subject, that being her hatred of Jeremy Corbyn. However, she states that she is a long-standing member of the Labour party and in that she has the ability to continually raise issues in regard to Corbyn at her local party, district or even regional level if she brings that about in the correct manner.
For her nothing will be accomplished by moaning about Jeremy Corbyn on this forum day after day as being the current Labour leadership would seem to mean so much to her.
If it upsets you why do you respond continually Grandad?
This is not a facetious comment, I am just curious.
And Anniebach can post as much as she likes about whatever she likes - it's up to GNHQ to police the thread.
She does not post on anything she likes, she posts on one topic Jeremy Corbyn criticism.
And that as a member of the party. Some may find that rather strange.
I only post on Corbyn ? Ok who is using my name on all the other threads and on the games, own up ?
So when I leave the forum for some reason I should inform everyone ? Ok
I have to leave you now, need the loo, be back with you all later ?
She does not post on anything she likes, she posts on one topic Jeremy Corbyn criticism
Goodness how rude Grandad!
Wash your mouth out with soap and water.
Have you never been taught not to say she in isolation, or heard the saying
“Who’s she? The cat’s mother?”
FYI anniebach is a long standing member whom many of us have read over a considerable time and who posts on a variety of other threads - Jeremy Corbyn is not mentioned once!
This is in danger of developing into a witch ?♀️ hunt and you need to rein in those personal attacks.
Back from the loo, not constipation, I go to the public loos, saves my water bill ?
Well said Maw
Annie may post all day long that she dislikes Corbyn, just as you seem to post continually about how you dislike JRM.
Furthermore Annie or any other poster doesn’t have to account for their politics on here.
Get off the subject of another poster Grandad43 and back to politics.
I thought you were a long time!
