Because, Joelsnan, he was trying to stop the haemorrhage of tory voters and tory MPs to UKIP. Most of the country wasn't in the slightest bit interested. As the chart I posted shows.

Alexa just returned to the thread. Why don't you have a go at providing some facts and engaging in reasoned debate. I would welcome that from you and others as a lot of posters would. Instead of yet another unsubstantiated statement. Another point, please don't generalise, or assume that every one is influenced by just one newspaper, such as the Daily Mail, what about the Express, oh and the Mail and of course the Sun. I am sure you would be highly offended if I said you were influenced only by The Guardian.
