Secondly, as opposed to the ‘B’ reason, (“ not again” to quote Brenda from Bristol), could it be an attack timed by the bloomin’ obvious to put a halt to the England football team continuing in the World Cup?

The connection with staying in Europe or not eludes me completely. If that connection is so elusive, then the aims have failed it would seem.

Are you suggesting that, if Britain were out of the EU, then no European country would co-operate in the investigation?

This must be really frightening for those living nearby. I can't believe some of the comments above. At least two people are in danger of dying, and many others could be affected.

The police and emergency services have to assume the worst to protect the public.

Looks as though they were drug users and picked up the needle or syringe used for the original attack - where they found it was outside the area where tens of millions of pounds were spent on the clean up.
