Just one last comment Allygran1, If you do not accept my apology, I wholeheartedly withdraw it, you did not deserve it in the first place, but as gesture of Goodwill I offered one to you, however I am now more than ever certain that it wasn’t necessary in the first place .

Varian and Bridgeit are two of the most polite and thoughtful contributors to these threads.
Bridgeit has been very careful to remain interested but neutral over the contentious aspects of the Brexit issue.
Varian is a strong advocate for Remain and always uses well thought out arguments and reputable sources of information.
Both avoid making personal attacks. I really hope they are not put off contributing to threads - that would make Gransnet a poorer place for reasoned discussion.

varian uses reputable sources of information - but extremely one-sided and biased in favour of remain and perhaps posters would like to hear different points of view too.

Perhaps respecting others' viewpoints should be the way forward, even if posters don't agree.

I speak as one who has been the recipient of rude remarks from a poster who has tried bullying other posters too and it is not pleasant.

Varian has just made an unpleasant comment ( which I thought was verboten on GN) saying that Allygran is not a real poster but a robotic responder from somewhere.
This was because Varian disagrees strongly with the posts that Allygran makes on here, and one or two others, hour good self included? were happily going along with that.....again because you disagree.
All I see on GN over and over, are insults from those who I would call extreme Remainers ( of which Varian is the head girl) aimed at anyone who has the temerity to say they voted to leave.
