If she did jump rather than fell then we should be happy - would you miseries rather she drowned?
I'd rather she didn't jump in the first place; however, I agree with ginny's post.
Riverwalk yes, one can understand that desperate people may not always be thinking rationally. However, a man was threatening to jump off a bridge not far away a few years ago and the whole motorway was shut for hours - people, small children, lorries, business people all stuck there for all that time.
Another time the motorway was shut for hours when someone else threatening to jump off a bridge - it was freezing cold and children and vulnerable people needed medical attention after that incident.
