at last, the legal case has been put together to sue Boris ... for his lies during the campaign - re the 350m a week we 'give' to the EU.

I shall happily join in the Crowdfunding to support Marcus Ball in this endeavour, as I contributed to phase one.

Bring it on.

Any charlatan selling stair lifts of pensions using such fraudulent tactics would have found the Contract annuled- and see himself heavily fined or worse, for fraud- in particular aimed at vulnerable and gullible people (yes, us 'the elderly').

Have you a link that can take us to the crowdfunding site jura2?

I will willingly fund that. Hope it gets similar support to that of Alex Salmon, but not sure it will

I am very optimistic that many of the 59% who know would vote to remain, and felt they were misled and lied to, will contribute.

To find out more visit www.brexitjustice.com or to pledge money visit www.crowdfunder.co.uk/brexitjusticeprosecution/

I don’t understand how you know that 59% would vote to remain jura.....has there been another referendum while I was in holiday? ???

jura2 Thu 06-Sep-18 16:21:50

I have - quite substantially.

kittylester Thu 06-Sep-18 16:25:02

I missed it as well, oldmeg but I think one poll suggested that figure.

petra Thu 06-Sep-18 16:30:22

Grandad1943
In 2 years they have raised £200,000 from 5,000 backers.
How many people voted to remain?
They need £2mil to launch the case.
I don't see this happening anytime soon.

Luckygirl Thu 06-Sep-18 16:31:24

I wonder what happens about all the others involved in the campaign and making similar claims.

JudyJudy12 Thu 06-Sep-18 16:37:33

The polls before the vote said we would remain.I would not trust the polls.

jura2 Thu 06-Sep-18 16:44:34

No-one elected and in Government made similar claims Lucky.

jura2 Thu 06-Sep-18 16:45:08

THAT was the one lie that has been shown and proven to sway so so many voters.

jura2 Thu 06-Sep-18 18:25:45

oh no joelsnan - this was an old rogue one-

Click on my link - it has not failed at all and has quite a time to run. You will contribute, I hope.

Crowdfunding to sue Boris!!

Just when we think we've heard it all from the desperate Remain camp...……..!

petra Thu 06-Sep-18 19:07:45

So what is the truth
In The New European ( dated today) it states that £200,000 has been raised out of £2Mil needed.
The link posted by Jura2 states that £12,000 has been raised out of £500,000 needed.
Doesn't pass the smell test, does it.

What a childish move. Perhaps somebody could bring a case against the financial institutions and the then Chancellor of the Exchequer who assured us that the vote to leave would bring economic gloom, I would say - find a worthier cause for the cash because it is money down the drain

Rogue Traders -

they get caught - so do you think elected politicians, especially those in Government, should be able to lie, reiterate the lie again and again, under scrutiny- and get away with it - when rogue traders would not? A lot more at stake here, for sure- the whole country.

This is not about the promise to give money to NHS, it is about the figure of 350m per week to EU - which has been proven to be hugely inflated- specifically to sway the public- in a crucial vote that will shape the future of this country.

Did you see Raab being questionned by the Commission btw? Where he was asked about the Electoral Commission findings that the vote was fraudulently won?

Childish you say - Raab said 'posturing' - just as insulting, especially to the official Brexit Commission.

lemongrove Thu 06-Sep-18 22:36:52

Exactly gangy5 perhaps we should start a crowd funder to sue George Osborne who said that if we voted to leave the EU an emergency budget would have to be put in place the next day! grin

I have better things to do with my money than crowd funding anything to do with politicians.

MaizieD Thu 06-Sep-18 23:14:43

Go on, lemon. Give it a whirl
