So no hope from Jeremy either?

It seems JC would still back Brexit even if another election brought him to power.
How to shoot yourself in the foot?
From The Guardian this weekend

Jeremy Corbyn is facing a storm of criticism from Labour activists and MPs after suggesting he would press ahead with Brexit if the party won a snap general election.
In a sign that he is losing backing among overwhelmingly pro-Remain Labour supporters, Corbyn was also accused of betraying the party membership by appearing reluctant to back the idea of supporting Remain in a second referendum
The first signs of a serious internal revolt from party members on the left, who helped propel him to the leadership, came after Corbyn gave an interview to the Guardian in which he suggested he thought Brexit should go ahead and said EU state-aid rules would prevent a Labour government intervening to support UK industries.

Anniebach Quote [ She was a shop steward, 7 years after she had a son with McClusky she became a regional officer] End Quote

Anniebach, Formby was an elected shop steward and branch activist in her teens and early twenties which are lay member positions. She then went on to full-time employment in the Union by gaining reginal appointments that were made by the reginal committees mainly in the South West.

The above committees are autonomous in their organiser appointments and in that Central Office and Len McCluskey would have no input as personnel for those appointments must come from within the region.

Jenny Formby was working at the highest level in the south-west region of the T&WGU before she was elected as Regional Secretary of the South East Region by the General Executive which is the only appointment central office can make to a region.

I find it appalling that two women on this forum can post in such derogatory terms in regard to the outstanding achievements of another women placing that down solely to her bedroom activities.

UNBELIEVABLE.

I find it appalling that a man on this forum can defend unions for keeping Lord Robens in his job.

trisher Sat 26-Jan-19 14:05:31

Ah if your opinions are undependable change the argument!

trisher Sat 26-Jan-19 14:06:08

That should be defendable !

Jalima1108 Sat 26-Jan-19 14:15:56

I did no such thing Grandad, if you were referring to me.

I merely wondered what the very attractive Ms Formby saw in Mr McCluskey, rather as Mrs Merton queried what attracted Ms McGee to Mr Daniels.
I assumed it must have been his GSOH.

Anniebach Sat 26-Jan-19 14:19:11

What else could it be !

Jalima1108 Sat 26-Jan-19 14:21:33

As stated some women get on forums such as this and talk the talk, while other women get out in the real world and actually walk the walk.

Actually, many of your posts to women on this forum are extremely offensive Grandad, besides which all your hot air over a non-remark is wasted.

Well done, Jennie Formby, for your achievements, and well done all the other women who post on this forum for everything they achieved in their working lives too, whether they are high-fliers or not.

And, as you said yourself who knows what attracts two people into a personal relationship.

Yes, I think most people can Grandad, except for you.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 26-Jan-19 14:36:31

I am wondering why a "gentleman" who repeatedly shows contempt and disdain to the women on this forum continues to post and try to belittle them?

Does he derive pleasure and a degree of "male superiority" from his endeavours to "educate" female forum members?

My ‘meme’ threads have been for help, support, advice to help me come to terms with my beloved daughters death.

You have put the boot in , what a disgusting person you are

I have have praising the outstanding career achievements of a women in this thread and nothing else.

Anniebach Sat 26-Jan-19 14:49:16

And a man who ‘mocked’ a poster who asked for support for dealing with grief

Anniebach Quote [ And a man who ‘mocked’ a poster who asked for support for dealing with grief]

Anniebach, I cannot recall doing that can you post a link.

Anniebach Sat 26-Jan-19 14:57:19

l trisher or you will have anniebach starting another me-me thread saying she is being personally attacked on this forum.

Grandad1943 Sat 26-Jan-19 15:21:34

Anniebach, how does your above posts relate to me supposedly directly mocking someone who asked for support for dealing with grief.

As far as I am aware you have launched any number of me-me threads on this forum in regard to any number of topics about yourself and to which I have never posted on.

I believe at this time you are now trying to divert this thread away from your disgusting posts regarding Jenney Formby.

Anniebach Sat 26-Jan-19 15:30:39

Not true granddad1943. I chose to call my threads when a asked for support and understanding ‘meme’ threads , all my ‘meme ‘ threads have been for these reasons alone

Do not turn this on me, what you said was brutal and unrelated to the thread . Anyone with any decency or respect for grief would apologise for the distressed caused, you not being blessed with either decency or respect for someone grieving now try to wriggle out of a very personal and distressing attack on a poster. I pity you, to be so cold and incapable of common decency .

Jalima1108 Sat 26-Jan-19 15:30:52

Only someone with a twisted sense of logic could think that my comment about Ms Formby was derogatory.

Unfortunately, it could be considered to be misandric about Mr McCluskey, for which I apologise to him.

but I still can't see what a goodlooking woman like her saw in him but beauty is in the eye of the beholder or so it has been said. I am still presuming he must have a GSOH as many women appreciate that above all else.

And, as Grandad himself has said who knows what attracts two people into a personal relationship.
Who indeed!

granddad do stop trying to wriggle out of you brutal mocking.

A thread about a new lap top is a thread about a new lap top and not about me and you know this

GrannyGravy13 Sat 26-Jan-19 15:52:58

Grandad Anniebach has not got a "motor scooter" she has a mobility scooter.

She was bought a new computer as it was becoming difficult for her to use her "tablet"

I hope you are happy with yourself for your repeated verbal personal attacks on a female forum member, not for the first time either.

POGS Sat 26-Jan-19 15:57:30

Grandad

No surprise you follow and hang on to the Skwawkbox mantra / Steve Walker, as other posters have also.

To cut to the quick am I correct reading through the waffle basically it is saying that ' DESELECTIONS' will take place and sanctioned to get rid of those Parliamentary Labour Party MP's that are ironically called ' RIGHT WING'?

trisher Sat 26-Jan-19 15:58:44

And if you can't change the subject derail the thread completely!

Anniebach Sat 26-Jan-19 16:00:08

Thank you GrannyGravy, I am always honest about the threads I start when I need help and support.

grandad1943 warned me on a recent thread I was now a target, I didn’t expect him to target my appeals for support and understanding.

I admit he succeeded in hurting me deeply
