Freemasons, police and the judiciary.

Any correlation? Myth or mystery? Bunkum or brotherhood?
Your thoughts.
Recent threads had me thinking that there could be or may have been some collusion especially after reading articles in The Guardian and Telegraph.
I do know two persons who've been members for 41 and 50 years, respectively. One is a decorated officer.

As GrannyGravy implies, the secrecy aspect has been exaggerated.
You can find all about them online.
My pgf was a mason, showed me his blue leather pinny. I think Dad joined, but never took much part.

My Grandad taught me to sing 'Scots w'hae wi Wallace bled' etc. a revolutionary song.
