I never have a plan B but am eligible for the passport through my Spanish maternal granny and pops, her husband who was Irish, though I would never take that advantage.

Yes, it looks like full steam ahead now as Yvette Cooper's hijacking amendment was defeated and Brady's bill was successful. May needs to see if the EU will bend regarding the Irish border.

This is the last leg hopefully, if Remainer MPs in Parliament do not devise another way to hijack the process. I for one will be cheering on March 29th.

I really don't understand why some on here push others to only think of their GC. What about us ?

I blooming well matter and who knows what will be the state of the world in 10, 20 or 30years time?
The world has changed immeasurably in the past 10-20 years and it will change in the future.
Disengaging ourselves from the EU as it is at present, will start a domino effect, mark my words.
Things will change for the better and Macron and Merkel will no longer hold all the cards.
You have only to read the news regarding those two countries, to know that all is not well.
Plainly put (without all the links and opposing views put forward at length on here) we will be saying goodbye.

I suppose it must be nice to have some sort of fall back position.

According to many GNers who have, in the past few weeks, posted that they would seek to avail themselves of an EU passport through having GPs born in an EU country, 'just in case', they see that as an advantage.
I do not.

It is obviously a huge advantage to anyone to be a citizen of an EU country and it is appalling that there is a serious danger of all UK citizens being deprived of this advantage against their will.

I have NO plan B and remain a LEAVER as I always have.
I voted UKIP and still support their stance.
If you have to have a plan B, it means that you haven't put 100% faith and energy into Plan A and I have and I do.

Since this thread is about honesty what do you like about UKIP?

I actually quite like Russia having been to that country once (years ago) and have a good number of books on their politics.
There are aspects of their policies with which I am in total agreement.
As for detailing my alliance with UKIP, that is and remains, my business.
Honesty does not mean having to justify ones preferences, especially to those who are obviously not in agreement and who simply want an argument.
I'm not rising to that bait.

UK’s contribution to the EU is the equivalent of the value of the 19 lowest contributors of the 27 member states.

Obviously the likes of Merkel, Macron, Junker and Tusk are not at all bothered if we leave????

The eu have 2 options, don't they: the big hitters will have to put more in the pot to keep the project going or the poorer eastern countries will get less.
I'm sure the richer countries will love paying more.

Watching the news tonight and footage from the European Parliament. Nigel Farage was sitting there smirking. I wouldn't be surprised if our hopes of them agreeing to some changes are scuppered by them thinking he is an example of typical Brits. He is beyond contempt IMHO.
