I think spending half a million on a baby shower is obscene. Glad Kate did not do that. It makes a mockery of Meghan pretending to understand how others struggle with money. I think Harry needs to learn to tell Meghan no sometimes. This what Megan wants Meghan gets is not healthy all of the time. I think Harry is afraid of disagreeing with Meghan.

You could point out to your kind friends that spending vast sums of money on frivolity will not sit well in your new position, so a more modest affair would be more appropriate! I'm sure they'd have understood?!!!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge however, seem much more like normal royals, down to earth, and, dare I say it, dutiful, which I suppose equals dull, but at least it's safe!!
