LBC are reporting that SB lawyers are trying to verify that her new born son has died

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 18:38:47

This is an own goal I fear.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 09-Mar-19 18:40:52

As I have posted before our AC is a member of our armed forces, and spends a lot of his time researching, locating and sometimes engaging with Daesh.

They are single minded in their aim of a homeland under their rules, which are nothing like the peaceful way of Islam.

Daesh have cells in most countries, it would be extremely naive to take POTUS word that "they are on the run and beaten"

lemongrove Sat 09-Mar-19 18:49:19

notanan2 you say....
‘If we hadn’t behaved so awfully on the international stage’
So what of the all the bombings/killings taking place by IS all over the world, including many African countries.
The truth is that Islam ( a perverted view of it) has been the scourge of all countries by these extremists, including many who have not done anything ‘on the international stage’ to warrant anything at all.
We are taking home grown British terrorists back, either they slink back in and vanish or we find them and arrest them.A few have had their British citizenship revoked. This is not normally done unless they have dual citizenship.

lemongrove Sat 09-Mar-19 18:50:59

Exactly GG13 but thankfully they are not making ground as before.

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 18:51:50

So what of the all the bombings/killings taking place by IS all over the world,

This thread is about the British members. And we are making our children susceptable to radicalisation, by failing them as individuals and in more general/global terms by making it easy to argue that we are im fact the evil enemy.

lemongrove Sat 09-Mar-19 18:51:57

No notanan2 this is not an own goal at all.

lemongrove Sat 09-Mar-19 18:54:39

The bombing and killing by Daesh in many other countries is relevent, including African countries notanan as you appear to think it’s because Britain/France the US etc have
Behaved badly, and this is some form of payback ( it isn’t.)

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 18:59:05

No. I think that the reason British children are easily radicalised (and this isnt just about IS but grooming in general) is because amongst other factors, there are many readily available examples for extremist groomers to use to make them want to distance themselves from Britain.

Its a stage of grooming: to make children believe that what they are turning their back on/leaving is uncaring/bad.

Once they are IN IS then thats not what its about...but it IS a tool used to gey them IN in the first place

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:03:41

Kids dont just go from Zero to IS/other radical follower..
Many are lured through seemingly intellectual group discussions about injustices....

Well there's certainly plenty of examples..
Then get them all riled up and draw them in deeper and introduce an "alternative".

Others are drawn in simply because it'll be the first time they were told they belonged, and are told they are loved by their fellow members...

.... either way the fire is fanned by the groomers

But WE put the ember there in the first place, on way or another

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:07:32

Groomers tell kids that their parents dont care/understand, that their teachers/hcps cant be trusted, and their friends arent right for them............ AND in the case of terrorist cells, that their country is evil, but its okay, it doesnt have to be their country any more there is an alternative...

... yes. Britains behaviour certainly plays a part.
Just like how its easier to groom a kid from a chaotic home, or from bad schools, or bad neighbourhoofs...

Lily65 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:13:42

No it shows what rubbish you spout about " we in the West"

Jalima1108 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:14:27

So she was recruited at 15, subjected to training and conditioning when she arrived that we know nothing about, she has seen beheadings and other atrocities, lived in a war zone and lost 3 babies and she is still only 19.
As I said, she is in shock and looks defeated.

Lily65 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:15:01

POTUS word? Oh yeah , that will deffo be worth a look

Jalima1108 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:16:08

Where did her air fare come from ? Stolen too
One would presume from IS who were recruiting young girls as 'brides'.

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:18:24

All it shows is that so many posters just want to stick their fingers in their ears about how the grooming and radicalisation of kids doesnt begin and end with the individual kids and the grooming group.

Dont want to hear how society is leaving an INCREASING amount of children in this country feeling disinfranchised and vulnerable to it

Dont want to hear why children like this might find it so easy to turn their back on where they were born and raised.

Dont want to hear why they consider our society SO BAD that going to Syria to join IS is the preferable option

Jalima1108 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:19:41

And FFS, she had lost two children already, and this baby was never going to survive without outside help
We don't know why her other two children died, we only have her word for it and babies do survive, as I already posted, in refugee camps despite all.
I must say that she did not look as if could care for this child - she just seemed so apathetic towards it, sadly.

JenniferEccles Sat 09-Mar-19 19:21:13

Those who claim that their hearts breaks for this girl who supposedly has had three children who have died, need to remember that in an interview she said that the deaths of the first two affected her husband much more than her.

Not the words of a normal grieving mother were they ?

Save your pity for all the hundreds of thousands brutally murdered by the barbaric terrorists SB loves so much.

She should never be allowed to return here, and if it is true that she did indeed have a baby recently who has now died, there is no reason why she should be.

Jalima1108 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:22:37

Dissociation is any of a wide array of experiences from mild detachment from immediate surroundings to more severe detachment from physical and emotional experiences. The major characteristic of all dissociative phenomena involves a detachment from reality
That, of course, would explain her apathy, her appearance of detachment and probably how people behave when they are in shock too.

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:23:24

Its known that while happy kids who are well looked after both at home and within the wider community and society can be groomed, noone is immune, MOST groomed/radicalised children have already been failed in some way long begore the groomers get their mits on them.

The fact that so many posters can SEE her as British, when up to recently she was... might hint at why she may have not felt a sense of belonging when she did live here prior to being radicalised?

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:25:15

Save your pity for all the hundreds of thousands brutally murdered by the barbaric terrorists SB loves so much.

The Syrian (and other) victims of our British terrorists do have my pity. It adds insult to injury that we dump our criminals on them in this way.

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:27:32

Not the words of a normal grieving mother were they

Some good posts on disassociation up thread

Of course shes not a "normal mother".

notanan2 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:31:34

Whilst we continue to deny any responsibility for our kids who end up in sex/violence/drug/crime/extremist gangs, we will continue to make the groomers lives easy and feed into their hands. We might as well wrap kids up in a bow for them sad

We wont get any sort of handle on terorism until we get a handle on how easily they can radicalise our kids, and why that might be.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 09-Mar-19 19:58:02

Lily65 POTUS stands for "President of The United States" and is a worldwide acronym.

Urmstongran Sat 09-Mar-19 20:08:26

And FLOTUS ‘First Lady of the United States’ ??

trisher Sat 09-Mar-19 20:18:32

I don't understand why sympathy should be restricted or limited to any one group or rule out anyone. Do I feel for the people murdered by Daesh? of course I do, Do I feel for those who are dying in refugee camps? yes I do. But that doesn't stop me feeling for one young girl who was lured into something that left her with 3 dead babies and a country that disowned her.
