Who? I can't think of anyone ...

LadyGracie Tue 19-Mar-19 22:25:52

I’ve always voted conservative, I will never again!

Grieve and Soubry ... toxic- just shows how bitterly divided the country is. They would be my choice too.

I've never trusted any tory ever ,that wont change after this shower of selfserving incompetent fools

lemongrove Wed 20-Mar-19 12:10:57

Grieve and Soubry are finished.

None of them, I'd never trust a Tory to run the country. Surely the last eight years have shown us what kind of party they are.

BlueBelle Wed 20-Mar-19 13:12:38

NO

Izabella Wed 20-Mar-19 14:37:11

No

yggdrasil Wed 20-Mar-19 15:18:41

Only Ken Clarke. But he is too sensible to take the poisoned chalice

Ilovecheese Wed 20-Mar-19 15:41:17

If we can only choose Tories, then agree with yggdrasil Ken Clark

... and to be fair, too old for the job

AllatSea48 Wed 20-Mar-19 16:41:39

Is there one single one of them that is seriously trustworthy? Has total integrity, decency, is completely honest.....

We need to start again, get rid of the lot of them, (eject them all to some desert island), have proportional representation, an elected upper house, a strictly monitored utterly fair system! Cloud cuckoo land I guess, but I do feel there is no-one, but no-one I wish to vote for - at the moment!

I posted the following query on the good news thread but then felt it may be better placed in this thread

So, I have been working here in the office all day, but someone has just come in who had watched PMQs at lunchtime and is saying that Theresa May looked and sounded like she was on the verge of resigning.

Would anyone on GN who watched PMQs agree with what has been said, as many of us are intrigued and somewhat concerned here?

PamelaJ1 Wed 20-Mar-19 16:54:43

I hope she doesn’t, we would really be in the dogs doo dah then.
I’d like Yvette Cooper. Do you think she would change sides?

dragonfly46 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:01:10

I like Yvette Cooper also.
Maybe we could persuade David Milliband to join the Conservatives.

aggie Wed 20-Mar-19 17:03:52

all equally faceless and inept ???? aye there the rub !

jura2 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:04:52

For another thread really- This one is about Conservative Leader.

PamelaJ1 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:09:58

So sorry Jura. Wrist slapped.

jura2 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:21:46

LOL nooo- but it is complicated enough- so best to stick to one party at a time ;)

Nicenanny3 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:24:18

Gavin Williamson, Boris, Jacob Rees Mogg.

jura2 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:26:25

you would .....

trust? them???

GillT57 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:37:21

nicenanny time for a little lie down, you are obviously feeling the strain of all this Brexit business. The thought of any of the current cabinet as PM worries me greatly. Dominic Grieve would get my vote if asked.

Nicenanny3 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:41:17

Dominic Grieve is a weasel.

GabriellaG54 Wed 20-Mar-19 17:55:39

MaizieD seems to have all the answers so she thinks but perhaps Lady Colin Campbell would be better.
Outspoken and part of the LBGQT community. Kills 3 birds.

varian Wed 20-Mar-19 17:58:19

Dominic Grieve would be my first choice but Ken Clarke would be a good choice as caretaker PM until after a GE.

MaizieD Wed 20-Mar-19 18:09:46

MaizieD seems to have all the answers so she thinks

Ooooh. Did I hear my name?

Are you waiting for me to put you right, GG54?
