I am totally in support of our armed forces.

Again you need to check my posts as whilst I have always voted Conservative, I have posted that I find the party an embarrassment and total shambles at the moment.

Anna Soubry is the only one of the five who is a true remainer. Rudd and Reynolds are spinning their party lines about "delivering brexit". The other two are extreme brexiters.

We should be asking the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation why this is Farage's 33rd appearance on QT! They have a great deal to answer for.

I hope that Nigel has the skittles lined up and the right weight of bowling ball in hand to knock 'em down.

‘Spinning the party line’ in the case of Ms. Rudd does not make her a Brexiteer!

I shall definitely be watching. It will be interesting to listen to Soubry take on Farage as she is vociferous and gets easily rattled. I can hear her now banging on about ‘my constituents... .’ (the majority of whom voted Leave, lady and who are very annoyed about their MP in Parliament).

Varian in answer to your question- yes. Any MP who resigns from the party/manifesto they got elected on should resign and stand again in a by-election.

Day6 the accusations about Mosely and fascism are nothing to do with the Brexit vote. They are based on the long term opinions expressed by Nigel Farage. By the fact that at school he sang "Gas 'em all" and openly endorsed fascism. That he has cleverly used immigration to stir up working class communities just as Mosely used Jewish immigration. That he socialises with and supports racist and fascist people and parties. Those who support him and believe he will overturn British politics should be very careful, because the results may not be exactly what they imagine.

In your opinion GrannyGravy13. As far as I'm aware you have become the House of Commons and the House of Lords combined with the added ability to change how they work.

Before I exit to watch Nigel mash the oppo, I want to express the opinion that this has turned into a tit for tat playground battle, throwing racism and all manner of undesirable name calling and tittle-tattle around. If remainers (who incidentally are shouting the loudest) don't agree with leavers, why waste your precious breath (or fingertips) on us?
You're never going to convince us of your views so find better things to do...if you can tear yourselves away from your keyboards.

I was replying to Varian.

When a person gets elected on a Conservative “ticket”(or any political party) then decides to resign from said party and join a newly formed party or just become an “Independent” MP., they should actually resign and give their constituents a chance to decide if they still agree with their new “political stance”.

Surely that would be the democratic thing to do?

How many MEPs we elected as UKIP members, left UKIP, but did not stand down?

Any MP, MEP who "changes horses" mid term should stand for re-election in a by-election.

Not to do so makes a mockery of the electorate who voted them into office i.e. vote for a Conservative candidate then half way through the parliament you end up with an Independent.

Five years ago UKIP had 24 MEPs. Following multiple defections by April 2019 it was reduced to three. Not one of the defectors has stood down.

The different with the eu Ukip MEPs is that the European Parliament ended on 18th April 2019 and voters will have a chance to vote them in/out on 23rd May. But the MPs in Parliament who were voted in on Conservative or Labour tickets like Anna Soubry we can't get rid of until the next General election whenever that might be.

Varian maybe it's time to change the law, to enforce a by-election in these circumstances.

I appreciate that this thread is about NF and the Brexit Party but there are MPs sitting in parliament at the moment elected on Labour and Conservative "tickets" now no longer party members, who need to resign fully and put themselves up for re-election.

This phenomenon is not unique to UKIP.
