Gone DB has been sacked 3 times by the BBC in the past, so I expect he has got the impression he can do what he likes and will always be taken back into the fold.

Plenty of "well paid employees" risk their careers and livelihoods to do stupid things, usually because they are arrogant - someone has mentioned Jonathan Ross for one.

Most people on here applaud the BBC for their swift response. and only a couple seem to be unable to grasp the seriousness of his actions.
