Banning milkshakes to save Farage

Well Newcastle got him today but police in Edinburgh asked McDonald's not to sell milkshakes whilst he was there. What do you think? Is he fair game? Is it OK to target right wing politicians? Or should milkshakes be banned?

Some people only object when it’s the person they support who is being attacked. It’s fair game when it’s someone they disagree with...

Mycatisahacker Mon 20-May-19 18:21:53

Spot on crystaltipps very warped thinking.

maryeliza54 Mon 20-May-19 18:22:24

If it were genuine then it was wrong but speculating about the genuineness of anything connected to NF is hardly engaging in a flight of fancy is it?

maryeliza54 Mon 20-May-19 18:24:21

well that was exactly my point crystal hence the deafening silence on the attack on JC ( for which someone is now in prison I think).

Mycatisahacker Mon 20-May-19 18:32:19

What happened to JC this must have passed me by?

Now Maryeliza you one full well you are down playing it by inventing theories.

Stop it. Be clear on violence

varian Mon 20-May-19 18:51:55

Throwing milkshakes, eggs or rotten tomatoes at politicians never helps advance the debate. It is counter-productive.

Challenge the liars, the frauds, the snake oil salesmen with the TRUTH. That is what really scares them, even if their mindless, fawning fans choose to keep their fingers in their ears and their heads in the sand.

maryeliza54 Mon 20-May-19 18:58:17

mycat if you care so much about violence to MOs you should be asking yourself some very hard questions about why the JC incident passed you ( and many others ) by

jura2 Mon 20-May-19 19:31:16

Exactly varian.

phoenix Mon 20-May-19 19:38:34

Back to banning milkshakes, perhaps they should also consider banning the sale of eggs, flour, tippex, paint, in fact anything that can be thrown!

Damn silly.

phoenix Mon 20-May-19 19:42:57

Oh yes, forgot tomatoes.

And Farage has been proven to lie. Recorded in a
radio interview, then in another one denied having said it, until the recording was played back to him.............

Plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose

Gonegirl Mon 20-May-19 19:45:03

Who advocated banning milkshakes?!

varian Mon 20-May-19 19:46:57

Sadly, those who choose to will ignore the evidence of his lying (not just once but time and time again) and vote for him anyway. These people are the biggest threat to the future of our country, our children and grandchildren.

Gonegirl Mon 20-May-19 19:49:32

It's just cruel. There is a man there as well as a politician.

varian Mon 20-May-19 19:53:18

That's why this sort of thing is counter-productive. It makes some folk feel sorry for the man, when they should be criticising the lying politician.

Gonegirl Mon 20-May-19 19:56:54

I am quite capable of doing both you know varian.

phoenix Mon 20-May-19 20:17:07

Gonegirl, see the OP.

jura2 Mon 20-May-19 20:21:00

it has been suggested that it was orchestrated by NF to get sympathy !?! Wouldn't put it past him - but whatever- not helpful, and not in my name even though I utterly despise the man.

MawBroonsback Mon 20-May-19 20:26:18

Breaking News from HIGNFY (Have I Got News For You) grin

MawBroonsback Mon 20-May-19 20:27:19

OK blush I don’t really approve of throwing anything at anybody.

trisher Mon 20-May-19 20:28:05

Had it been a McDonalds cheap milk shake I might have considered the conspiracy theory. It wasn't it cost £5+ and I don't think Farage would waste that much!

lemongrove Mon 20-May-19 20:37:09

My oh my Maryeliza what very angry posts from you on this thread......oh wait....on every thread. ?

Soubry was giving interviews on College Green when there were protesters all around, not a wise move.Had she had anything thrown at her that would have been a different matter.
Nobody from any political party deserves that.

jura2 Mon 20-May-19 20:41:16

well lemong- it's been a very long time since we agreed x

lemongrove Mon 20-May-19 20:41:23

Like others, I never heard that anyone attacked Corbyn, when was it, and was it widely reported?
It certainly wasn’t on the news all the time.
Milkshake is harmless ( suit needs dry cleaning) but as some posters say, could have been acid.

jura2 Mon 20-May-19 20:42:48

His mate Banks will buy hi a new suit, don't worry- as he is paying for everything else so far.

Mycatisahacker Mon 20-May-19 20:51:14

Maryeliza

Er missing a peice of news isn’t really warranting having a good look at myself don’t be so pompous! I will google it if you can’t bring yourself to share the incident!

The bloody price of milkshakes in costa and elsewhere are eye watering by the way.,brought 2 for my dds and £4.50 each for goodness sake!
