Well everyone in the west who has not protested, supported or spoken out about the abuse of Palestinian rights lemongrove. Whatever blame may be ascribed to anyone else, the suffering of children and the inability to enforce UN rulings is unacceptable. (If you believe in human rights of course)

Thank you for your apology.] End Quote.
So Anniebach, do we take your above post as meaning there was no Yvette Cooper apology to the Jewish community, or is it that you do not wish to give us your thoughts on the readmittance to the Tory Party of 15 councillors expelled for Islamophobia.
In the second of the above many may well feel you are practising selective racism condemnations.
grandad1943 what people ‘may well feel’ is up to them .
trisher.....I have not protested publicly or supported publicly the Palestinian cause, but do have some sympathy for them, however like most people I have no part in enforcing UN rulings.
It’s not a simple matter of Palestinians=good, and Israelis=bad.
Yvette Cooper has no need to apologise any more than I do.
Anniebach Quote [grandad1943 what people ‘may well feel’ is up to them.] End Quote.
Anniebach, you have stated previously in this thread that you speak out against all racism. However, it is now apparent that you only speak out against racism that you perceive in the Labour Party and nowhere else.
That position totally lacks any credulity.
I've been googling to try and find the apology by Yvette Cooper but I can't find it either.
lemongrove if you have a Labour MP you could encourage them to join this

Yvette Coper isn't a member.
grandad1943. With respect, given the people you admire your opinion of me matters not a jot
Annie I believe the comments Yvette Cooper made were from early 2018. It seems an odd thing to bring up on a thread today, and perhaps shows how desperate you are to show evidence of anti-semitism in the Labour Party.
trisher it was on the news . What rubbish to claim I am desperate to show evidence , the desperate one is you trying to deny what is true .
Have you been watching old news Annie? There are NO links on any website or news feed. I'm not the one saying things there is no evidence to support.
Anniebach, you are always desperate to demonstrate that racism exists in the Labour Party. However, as your posts on this thread today also demonstrate you are prepared to totally ignore racism in other political parties and organisations even when overwhelming evidence exists.
In that, you claim you always speak out against racism wherever you you find it, but as stated, your words or lack of them on this thread today demonstrate otherwise.
grandad1943 and trisher you are wasting your time trying to bait me and trying to deny anti semetism is in the
Labour Party.
Anniebach, no one is denying that racism exists in the Labour Party. However, you seem to deny that it exists anywhere else but in the Labour Party.
That has to be placed against your claim to always speak out against racism wherever you find it.
At the old adage states "there are none so blind as those that do not wish to see"
I have never denied racism exists, stop baiting , waste of your time grandad1943
Thread title ‘Labour - Anti semetism ‘ , this means exactly what it says, Labour - anti semetism, got it now ?
Anniebach, you have stated that you speak out against racism wherever you find it. However, I asked you in this thread today to give this forum your thoughts on the fifteen Tory councillors who were expelled from that party for Islamophobia but were re-admitted only a few weeks later.
You have declined to post on that matter Anniebach, which very much rules against your claim to speak out on racism wherever you find it.
Racism exists all around every one of us, by way of the institutions and organisations we all deal with throughout our everyday lives, and not just in the Labour party or this thread.
I would go further than that, Grandad. I believe the potential for racism exists in everyone. Whether it develops or not depends on life experiences etc. Some can control it better than others.
I know this is not a popular view, I've mentioned it in the past.
There is a thread on islamophobia in the Tory party
I will not comment on islamophobia in the Tory party in this thread because it is being used as a diversion
You haven't commented on it on the other thread either Annie perhaps there is racism which bothers you and racism that doesn't?
All racism troubles me and people excusing racism in some by pointing a finger at others keeps racism alive and strong
Grandad
I said I would get back to you re your post :-

" Well, anniebach, at least I am not trying to defend a political party with links to the extream right in Europe and America and even invites a Hindu preacher to Parliament who condones the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya Muslim people in former Burma. "----
I have looked into this and find that it was something that happened in 2017 and the ' invite ' to Tapan Ghosh was made by the National Council of Hindu Temples and not Bob Blackman . Blackman agreed to host 2 ' functions ' in the H of P for the National Council of Hindu Temples in his role as chairman of the all-party parliamentary group for British Hindus for Diwali celebrations.

" Responding, Mr Blackman said:
' Let me be clear, I did not invite Tapan Ghosh to this House of Commons.
"I hosted, in my capacity as chairman of the all-party parliamentary group for British Hindus, two functions last Wednesday [18 October], at which Tapan Ghosh attended."
He added Mr Ghosh was invited by the National Council of Hindu Temples to attend the discussion event and "present evidence of physical attacks, rapes and false marriages and false conversions that have taken place in west Bengal and other places".
"It was only in that capacity as presenting that evidence that that individual was invited to this House," Mr Blackman said.
"He made no abhorrent remarks at the meeting, and I am quite clear that both myself and the National Council of Hindu Temples do not agree with his views that have previously stated, do not accept them, we do not endorse them in any shape or form."
Mr Blackman told Sky News he was unaware of Mr Ghosh's past comments prior to the event and would not have been able to prevent his appearance had he wished to."
I have used Sky as it was widely covered but I thought this covered most questions and answers in a brief form .
Now do I think inviting the likes of Tapan Ghosh to the H of P is wise or acceptable then my answer is no but that is be cause I will not be a hypocrite who challenges the decision by Jeremy Corbyn to invite the likes of the IRA or Hamas to the H of P.
I presume the fact the 'invitation ' to Tapan Ghosh by the National Council of Hindu Temples was challenged and reported lead to no action being taken or House of Parliament Code of Conduct being broken.
What I would say is there should be a tightening up of the rules and due diligence should be carried out for ALL who enter the House of Parliament at ' invitation ' whether it be in person by a Member of Parliament or by association to that MP , Parliamentary Committe to Committee Rooms/ Functions or Debates and as members of all-party parliamentary groups.
Isn't not commenting about racism a way of accepting it. Silence implies consent (at least Sir Thomas More thought so).
trisher your opinions on anti semetism in the Labour Party please ?
I still find an irony in the same posters who ' continually ' on thread after thread expect Anniebach to somehow show some sort of contrition yet they refuse to discuss/debate the problem of antisemitism in the Labour Party and if they do it is to 'deny ' it even exists or deflect the discussion.
