That's a very constructive and polite way of responding to Joelsnan's contributions on this thread suziewoozie.
US troops forced to act on the ground?
The epitome of cocky I was frankly disgusted by his behaviour outside Leeds Crown Court.
He is an obnoxious individual who seems to think he is above the law.
Beneath contempt more like.
That's a very constructive and polite way of responding to Joelsnan's contributions on this thread suziewoozie.
?
Oh suziewoozie
I am very aware of the equalities act and that is why I challenge.
The term racist is being diluted to almost insignificance because of its overuse and misapplication, even more so now we can define almost anything as cultural racism.
It is proven that both police and social services have and still are hand tied in addressing challenges within some communities as a result of the term ‘racist’
Because I may look at things from a different perspective, it appears that I too am being discriminated against on this thread certain poster are forming discriminatory opinions based on my posting with absolutely no knowlege of me. I would say...Look to yourselves.
joelsnan do you think "Robinson" would have been so up in arms if the men who ran those paedophile rings were white? And I doubt if he cares what country they originated from. Just the fact that they look foreign and are muslim would be enough for him.
He is no big hero.
TR has asked Trump to give him asylum in the USA because he faces court here for contempt.
We have to look at this man's mental health after saying " there are dark forces at work here ". Fanatics such as himself usually do have mental health issues. They get so carried away in their beliefs that it sends them crazy. If this man was faced with jail it would definitely send him over the top.
Jail isn't the answer for this man, the same as for many others who are like him.
Apropos of a article I've read in today's Guardian, which stated that many news paper articles about the Muslim community tend to be negative and the most positive ones would be in The Observer and The Guardian themselves.
With that in mind, I remember when The Times broke the story about the grooming gangs and the editor at the time said he was reluctant at first to do the in depth series on the subject because he thought it was a hot potato, the hot potato that neither the police or social services wanted to deal with seemingly because of cultural sensibilities. I remember reading about some of the horror stories and wonder how desperate a parent must be, as one set who in their quest to get professional help when none was forthcoming turned to the National Front. My thoughts were how horrific on two fronts, not to be listened to by the police intent on suppressing the truth, instead putting the onus on the children themselves for the situation they found themselves in and then to have to turn to a nasty bunch of fascist thugs because they were in fear of their lives.
Off course these groomers were and are, minorities within the Muslim community and it's unfortunate for the wider Muslim population that the wrongdoings of a small minorities are used to tarnish all. However, maybe The Guardian and The Observer wouldn't have broken that story in the way The Times did. Ignoring the elephant in the room isn't good for society per se and I'm sure it leaves a void for the Tommy Robinsons to step into. Wrong doings have to be dealt with otherwise the perception is that certain demographics are untouchable, and the decent and overall majority from those communities get tarnished by misconceptions that they will escape justice because of accusations of racism. By the way I think racism can work two ways the girls in the grooming cases were often referred to as white trash.
It's the fault of this country that we have people like TR and his ilk. As a country we didn't attempt to integrate immigrants within established communities nor were any attempts made to educate anyone in a proper manner to accept that immigrants had differing values etc to ours.
Half of them were housed in places which were wholly unsuitable and bordering on slums. What does that say about acceptance into this country ? No money, no food and no clothing. These were frightened people.
If people bothered to introduce themselves to those coming from abroad it would have meant a lot. Instead, hostility has been shown towards them so naturally they're going to fight back in one way or the other.
Wherever I've travelled, a smile or a hello which everyone understands is all it takes as a friendly gesture.
There's no need to go to extremes !!
Here’s hoping Trump gives Tommy Robinson asylum.te
EllenVannin, having extreme bigoted views doesn’t automatically mean the individual has m.h problems, tho personality problems loom large.
TerriBull, I too am Spartacus, one of the workers who tried so hard, yet failed to get agencies to investigate properly. I just deleted a long post I wrote on this so I’ll zip the lip
EllanV
You ate using the same generalisations. The vast majority of immigrants if all races, religions etc are well integrated into society it is a disservice to them to think they are not.
There will be some discriminated against by the bully types within our society but again they are few. Some seem to consider that immigrants particularity of certain ethnicities all nerd protecting snd that all ‘White’ people are baddies who want Blanc Britannia. If that were the case TR &co would be manning the ports rather than holding small demonstrations.
The nastiest thing in all this is Brexit with a mass exodus of EU nationals returning to their home countries as demographics show that these people were/are in full employment compared to those in the UK. Where does/will that leave us ? Plus those who are from outside the EU ?
Does TR have a job ? And other protesters like him ? I bet he voted for Brexit ?
I'm just incensed by all those who voted out !!
Sorry about spelling in previous post I was sat waiting for a diabetic eye check and had stinging drops in my eyes. I should have waited, but was trying to pass time. Sorry.
Don’t worry about spelling Joelsnan......ouch! To those stinging eyedrops ( I can’t put anything in my eyes.)
Good post TerriBull ???
EV do give it a rest! Not every thread needs a Brexit rant.
who is tommy robinson? never heard of him....lol

I don't understand this post at all. Are you confusing immigrants with asylum seekers EllanVannin? Where I have lived in London there were immigrants living in the same street; they came here to work, to integrate and their values, work ethic, family, education for their children etc were the same as ours. They were not frightened people.
Oh - and we didn't live in a slum.
I believe TR ( or whatever he is called today) is scared and therefore is seeking asylum in the USA.
lemon 'EV do give it a rest! Not every thread needs a Brexit rant.'
a) that is really rude? and b) not every thread needs a Brexit rant, I agree. But this one certainly does, as TR and his ilk, and Brexit, are very very closely linked. Thanks.
With a polite reminder of your very own words today
?don’t worry, when posters resort to personal remarks it means they are getting short of things to say. - I so agree.
Except....it wasn’t a ‘personal’ remark about EV it was a request for a break in Brexit rants.
Do you know what ‘personal’ means jura ?
he thought it was a hot potato, the hot potato that neither the police or social services wanted to deal with seemingly because of cultural sensibilities
Excellent post Terribul
Sorry TerriBull
I genuinely am interested in how the police and social services held back due to cultural sensibilities. All I know is what I gleaned from the excellent ( though disturbing) drama Three Girls.
I have been reading up on this a bit and it's pretty grim. All the more reason why it is right that some of the perpetrators were sentenced.
