Cycling, apologies I did not make myself clear. If you suggest somebody is a plant or a troll, HQ may contact you.
If you read back I think my opinion of TR is pretty clear. Thanks.
Good Morning Sunday 10th May 2026
WORD ASSOCIATION - 9th May 2026
The epitome of cocky I was frankly disgusted by his behaviour outside Leeds Crown Court.
He is an obnoxious individual who seems to think he is above the law.
Beneath contempt more like.
Cycling, apologies I did not make myself clear. If you suggest somebody is a plant or a troll, HQ may contact you.
If you read back I think my opinion of TR is pretty clear. Thanks.
All your vitriol should be directed at the perpetrators of these crimes and at the police and social workers who did nothing to help these young girls (and boys) for years, and not at anyone who seeks to expose the truth of the situation.
Your opinion,Lessismore !
How about accepting everyone else's too !! With less aggression.
You haven't read the thread, have you, qq?. Particularly contributions from Iam64.
Yaxley-Lemon is a troublemaker who is stirring up hatred of Islam under the pretext of being indignant about the abuse of young girls.
I suggest you have a look at the record of some of his former colleagues in the EDL. I don't recall him being vociferous about their abuse of children, both girls and boys. I posted a link earlier.
It's not the crime that he hates, it's the colour and religion of the perpetrators.
Sorry, my link was on the other thread about this unpleasant character:

Here are a few of them for starters:
Meet Richard Price, former leader of the English Defence League. Convicted for possession of child pornography, and admitted making indecent images of children.
Tommy Robinson began a "Free Richard Price" campaign in 2011.

·
Meet Michael Coates, member of the English Defence League. Pleaded guilty to a total of eight charges of indecent assault and two of attempted rape in relation to a teenage girl, and a further four offences of indecent assault in relation to a second girl.
#FreeTommyRobinson
Meet Brett Moses, member of the English Defence League. Confessed to flying to Canada to have sex with a 13 year old girl he'd groomed on the Internet, by claiming to be a 13 year old boy. He took an 11 hour bus journey to meet her in Grand Forks.
#FreeTommyRobinson
Meet Matthew Woodward, member of the Deeside English Defence League. When police investigated, they discovered sexual correspondence between Woodward and a 13-year-old girl.
Woodward pleaded guilty at Mold Crown Court to 16 offences.

etc.
The trouble is, quizqueen, that his behaviour could have wrecked the trial. In which case the vile men who committed this trial may have escaped punishment or delayed justice for those young girls and meant we’d all have to pay for the cost of another trial. The threat to the proper course of the legal case is why there are reporting restrictions and why flouting those restrictions constitutes contempt of court. These men were on trial: so we all knew about what was happening. The vile man who is getting a surprising and worrying level of support on GN committed a crime and has been duly punished for that crime.
And thanks, Lessismore. Do you know how GN checks that everyone on the forum is legit?
EV, could you please explain your comment which you directed to me?
I have no idea what you are talking about.
1.I got in a bit of a tangle in my " conversation" with Cycling Knitter. I was trying to say, if you allude to somebody being a plant or a troll HQ will contact you.
2. I find Johno's comments worrying and wonder if this is a genuine Gran/Grandad.
3. I think TR is not about doing a public service or drawing attention to crimes, he is not great man. He nearly jeopardised a court case and has his own agenda.
I hope I have succeeded in making myself clear. Many Thanks.
cyclingknitter you say ‘the vile man who is getting a surprising and worrying level of support on GN ‘etc......this simply isn’t true.
He has been rightly sentenced now.
Lessismore you're too quick to chide if someone happens to go against what you think is incorrect, or it doesn't match your own way of thinking. Why? It's up to the moderator to decide.
@EllenVannin
The moderator usually only intervenes if someone reports a post. They just don't monitor all our posts. So, in the first instance it is actually us, the posters, who make the initial decision about a post.
I'm a bit
, though, at the stick that Lessismore is getting. S/he was only trying to warn a poster that their post might be removed...
Past caring Maizie.
Elo to go back to your post of Wednesday 08: 58, you call the victims young women which could indicate that they were adults and perhaps had a choice, but some were in fact young girls of 12 or 13.
Callistemon I don't know exactly what you are trying to suggest. In my quite long post, I also said:
"they found girls with much older Asian men late at night in cars, in houses ................. a minor cannot be deemed to give consent .............."
"If there is clear evidence of sexual activity - and some girls even went to the police and asked for help, saying they were being used and abused but were frightened of these men - then there were valid grounds which would support a decision to investigate further."
I then went on to say:
"But this never happened and there was certainly some evidence that the police thought these young women - some of whom were in care ............ - which makes it perfectly clear to the reader that the reference was not to adults - adults are not taken into care.
I also refer to "young people", eg
"Paedophiles - whether individuals acting on their own or in groups - exist in all areas of society, even in those that appear outwardly "respectable", as I'm sure some young people (are you saying I should have referred to them as "children" or "girls and boys"?).
" ........................seemingly respectable people ............ have committed appalling offences against *young people*".
The whole tenor of my post was that what happened was a disgusting and very visible case of sexual abuse/rape against underage girls which was shamefully ignored by those who had the power to investigate. I rather object to your very selective representation of what I said.
Not trying to suggest anything other than that women was perhaps the wrong term to use and to emphasise that some of the children were only about 12 or 13.
I see nothing wrong with making that clear.
I did makeit clear.
