The epitome of cocky I was frankly disgusted by his behaviour outside Leeds Crown Court.
He is an obnoxious individual who seems to think he is above the law.
Beneath contempt more like.

Whitewavemark2, I can remedy a " non far-left " argument if you like.
A late uncle of mine was a Communist and listening to what he had to say years ago puts a lot of things today in perspective. I often think of some of the things he spoke about such as divided wealth etc. He and aunty lived very frugally in a dump of a flat in Liverpool. They went on the Aldermaston marches with his pal, Michael Foot ( a distant relative of mine ) and also attended the " ban the bomb " marches. He was a brilliantly clever man.
His two sisters lived " behind the wall " in Berlin and he often passed through Checkpoint Charlie to see them.

Sadly there'll never be a classless society which is the ideology of a Marxist. Nor will there be public ownership of any private company.

JC leading the next government couldn't be any worse than what we have right now. A bit of the Marxist theory thrown in for good measure would soon liven things up.
If JC is 100% sure at remaining in the EU then my vote will go to him for the first time in my life !!

Visiting hours must be over now, so I’ll go home

suziewoozie Sun 07-Jul-19 11:08:24

Ellan - not referring to your posts obviously

Niobe Sun 07-Jul-19 11:22:36

Maw, grin grin
So true!

Whitewavemark2 Sun 07-Jul-19 11:25:43

ev is this the right thread for your post? Only my last post was a comment on how all the strange lot come out of the woodwork when their far right March seems threatened?

Lessismore For one that certain areas are muslim. This is Great Britain. Certain communities, particularly in Bradford and Luton live outside of British law but follow Sharia Law only. Regarding the grooming gangs I heard him interviewed and he spoke of political correctness and the need for transparency.

I’d like to know why you’re scared of civil debate and discourse? Why do you resort to shutting down discussion? Why is it ok for a smirking young Asian guy to throw a milkshake over Tommy Robinson but not ok for a tattooed skinhead to do the same to Jeremy Corbyn or a muslim speaker? I don’t condone either but the self righteous so assured of their moral superiority seem to think one’s funny and the other’s a crime. GoneGirl tells posters on here to F... off and is applauded for her directness. Smacks of singing off the same hymn sheet but not knowing who’s conducting you and, more importantly, why?

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 12:32:44

No, Whitewavemark2 but I just thought I'd put my own slant on the far-left for a change.

Dinahmo Sun 07-Jul-19 12:34:31

I have one word for those of you who in anyway support TR. Rochdale.

Just cast your minds back to that case.

EllanVannin Sun 07-Jul-19 12:37:33

This whole thing gets too fanatical for my liking anyway and I don't do fanaticism in anything, it's mental.

Dinahmo Sun 07-Jul-19 12:47:01

Joelsnan This is one of the best examples of "whatabout ism" that I've ever seen. Of course you won't see much outrage on here about child molesters and rapists because I suspect that 99.9% of us feel the same way about such crimes. This forum is for us to discuss topics, not just to proclaim that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 13:12:03

For one that certain areas are muslim. This is Great Britain. Certain communities, particularly in Bradford and Luton live outside of British law but follow Sharia Law only.this is a common, and in this case, scaremongering technique.
I wish some people would wake up to the fact that “Tommy Robinson’s” contempt of court actually risked prejudicing or overturning the convictions in question. Helping the defendants, get it? ?
Our judicial system may be a mystery to many, but has clearly defined boundaries which are there for a reason.
So can we have less hysteria and a realisation that being guilty of contempt of court is what is in question.

Lessismore Sun 07-Jul-19 13:53:37

I don't think some people understand the word defendants to be honest.

Blondiescot Sun 07-Jul-19 14:39:31

Greenpen - see ya! I want my grandchild to grow up in a country which is welcoming and tolerant of all, irrespective of race, nationality, religion etc etc.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:03:50

Why dont you find out why the Armed Forces like him? I know and can prove it.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:07:31

Ticking bird - well said you. It is beyond weird that so many people make such crass comments. YOu people who dislike Tommy, can you not read what you are saying? You are literally insulting others just because they dont agree with you and worse still, they like a person you dont like and worse still, you can NOT say why you dislike Tommy Robinson. It never ceases to shock me that so many people can be so crass and stupid when entering a discussion forum.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 15:13:07

Greenpen confused
Nothing like conflating half a dozen social issues to (try to) prove a debatable, insular and racist point.

Back to Abraham Lincoln’s wise words!

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 15:14:21

Just had to Google MSN to find out what the hell it is.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:15:41

Blondiescot - so presumably you want them to grow up in a society where the police - social services - councillors and others in high authority do not COVER UP rape and torture and drugging of young girls in the form of mass, gang rapes based on a radical Islam status of white Christian females. This is a MATTER OF FACT AND ON THE OFFICIAL RECORDS. Tommy Robinson highlighted these crimes because they were covered up. The TImes Newspaper top journalist wants Tommy Robinson to be given a medal for heroism and services to society. The TIMES newspaper was forceful in getting to the bottom of the over 20 years of a deliberate cover-up of thousands of rapes... THOUSANDS. MPs were informed, top police ranks were informed and do you know why they did NOTHING (in fact some police actually assisted in the victimisation of the young girls) they did nothing because of fear of offending Islam and Muslims, scared to be accused of being racist. THIS IS OFFICIALLY ON RECORD via government enquiry. It shocks me that so many people ignore this.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:18:52

Greenpen.. well said. The snowflakes are triggered. Its the snowflakes who are ruining this country. The MSM supports them. Even Gransnet does not want them to be hurt via words while they dish out nasty comments at other users just because we disagree with them. God help Britain if internet sites and forums do not wake up and stand for truth instead of PC crap.

Johno Sun 07-Jul-19 15:24:50

Lessiemore.. I understand the word defendants I was a Crown Court Clerk and served in the Military Police and the MOJ as a senior manager. The point is the vitriol dished out while the thousands of rapes and those who did it and the officials who covered it up is NOT mentioned by the Tommy haters on here. I find that disgusting and worrying. Its called an ideological stance. It is impossible to debate with ideologues because they are never present in their own actions of input. They commit nothing of themselves. "I love brown people" so a brown person must not be pointed at if he rapes a person... thats the ideology. It is pathetic and I believe to be a mental impairment.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 15:25:02

Shouty capitals Johno [yawn]
Just because you shout something doesn’t make it right.

You presume wrong in any case - not for the first time either.

MawBroonsback Sun 07-Jul-19 15:34:11

May I remind you of what has already been said elsewhere?

of course we will get contributors who think like TR. That doesn't surprise me; it's what you get in a public forum. It does provide the opportunity to challenge those views, though.

For instance, it's clear that most of them don't understand what is meant by contempt of court, and their hero's actions could have seen the groomers and rapists set free

Remarkable though that may seem to those of us who actually think things through

Dinahmo Sun 07-Jul-19 15:49:06

I've often thought that it would be a good idea for everyone to have their DNA tested - that would sort out the true English from the rest. I don't think there would be many true English as we're really quite a mixed bunch.

Romans, Danes, Celts, Vikings (via the Normans) French, some Middle Eastern blood via the Crusades, some African blood via slaves and so on.

I for one am pleased to live in a multicultural society.
