There are many Labour Party members on GN and I would be interested in their thoughts on last night's programme. Having grown up in a Labour supporting household I know the vast majority of Labour Party members are not racist or anti-semitic, however I do feel this programme raises questions about the upper echelon of the party.

If it had been one or two people making the allegations I could accept the denials being issued by the Labour Party that these are just "disaffected former employees". However, there were several people interviewed, some in very senior positions.

I dont like the Labour party, it is opposed to free speech and is against a properly held referendum result. But I do not believe all the crap about antisemitism. 99% of claims never show evidence. It will be very easy to show evidence if making a serious claim. Also, the "antisemitism" bullshxt is always timed to perfection by the MSM. It also dominates the MSM every single day??? Why?? because they want to control what we hear and keep back that we should be hearing. You can bet there are many people with their fingers in the HS2 Rail Link multi billion-pound white Elephant which no one wants!! UKIPs Gerard Batten had a manifesto pledge to end HS2 and use the money elswhere

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 10:06:42

Would that be the same UKIP that would get rid of the NHS Johno? The same one that lost at the EU election to the Brexit party which isn't a political party and doesn't have a manifesto?
Annie your comment reminds me of staff rooms in the '80s when there was always gossip about who was having it off with whom, I thought we'd grown up and moved on from there!

Some of the whistleblowers who were in the Panorama programme are to sue the Labour Party

Panorama A deeply dishonest program
My thread on last night's #Panorama -- a deeply dishonest programme, repeating the same old lies about the manufactured Labour antisemitism "crisis".

Lies about Ken Livingstone, lies about Jackie Walker, lies about Raed Salah. Lies about practically everything.
#Panorama's hatchet job featured a veritable who's who of the right-wing, anti-Corbyn, anti-Palestinian cadres that've driven this fake crisis all along.

Yet none of these affiliations were disclosed in the programme. Some of these "brave whistle blowers" were not even named!

EXCLUSIVE: CURRENT LABOUR STAFF MEMBER BLOWS WHISTLE ON FORMBY – BUT YOU’LL PROBABLY NEVER HEAR HIM ON MSM

What appalling language from the Formby supporter

Sorry but I never read Sqwak box /Mid Wales Mike

Grany Sun 14-Jul-19 11:14:15

Yes agree it was appalling language but the lad couldnt help how he was brought up, he was given a chance a job by the Labour to help Formby. Also stops him getting into trouble otherwise.

Swakbox is an excellent online news a complete contrast to the usual MSM

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 11:35:31

Sqwak box is one persons opinion and on the far left

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 12:05:09

Just as the Panorama programme was the opinion of one person and that someone who has produced documentaries that have been judged not only inaccurate but libellous.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 12:21:52

It was not the opinion of one person,

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 12:28:13

Yes it was Annie. The opinion of John Ware who carefully cut and edited statements from other people that re-inforced his opinion. Swawk-box also posted someoone else's comments but at least they didn't cut or edit them.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 12:52:24

trisher, you are saying you know John Ware did the cutting and editing, why then was there such a large number
involved in the making of this programme?

You cannot bring yourself to accept there is anti semetism in the Labour Party , or have accepted there is but refuse to
admit it.

lemongrove Sun 14-Jul-19 13:09:03

Anniebach your post is spot on.

Blinkered left wing thinking from some posters reminiscent
Of what comes out of Russia.
Ve Deny it all!!

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 13:33:46

lemon, seems the BBC is cash strapped if a journalist edits and cuts a programme .

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 13:53:56

OH Annie do you really not know how directing, producing, editing and cutting a programme goes? OK here's a brief summary. The journalist responsible has over all supervision of everything. So he will write the original proposal, then oversee who is interviewed and how these are shot. He will then pass the rough cuts to the film editors and allow them to cut, but he will certainly supervise the cutting and once again oversee everything. He will view the finished product and suggest any changes he thinks necessary- this sometimes involves reshooting and shooting things he thinks may help to put his point across.Only when he is happy and the product tells the story he wants it to will he sign it off. Hope this explains everything.
By the way I hope you don't think that John Ware was actually interviewing the people who spoke do you?. It's easier to shoot people alone and have questions asked by someone on the production team. You then shoot a few shots of him and cut them in. Even when you see an interview where there are regular shots of both people don't believe they are both there unless you see both at once in a shot. Shooting seperately and then cutting is how it's usually done!

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 14:02:51

How interesting, I must remember to tell my Godson who makes documentaries how to do his job

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 14:48:59

Would you like to post his name *Annie, or something he made? My DS might know him, he has made a documentary and he is an award winning writer and director who has worked with Mike Leigh.

Grany Sun 14-Jul-19 16:08:00

This comment gives an excellent summery of how the Tories have corrupted our national broadcaster BBC

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 16:08:26

Certainly not trisher

trisher Sun 14-Jul-19 16:29:44

Thought not!

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 16:37:44

You surely didn’t expect a name so why ask

lemongrove Sun 14-Jul-19 16:39:43

Grany....a former scriptwriter who is very left wing for all we know, doesn’t speak for the whole Corporation.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jul-19 16:47:53

The far left can walk on water lemon, always truthful, caring, such as Mid Wales Mike, he of Sqwak box, he even knew Corbyn brought about ‘The Good Friday Agreement ‘?

bmacca Sun 14-Jul-19 17:39:14

Despite negative comments by posters on anyone who supports the current Labour leader, I have never attacked Jews. I have never said everything has been made up by the right. I have never dismissed antisemitism.

Antisemitism is a very serious issue wherever and whenever it rears its ugly head but to use it as a weapon to attack people who abhor what is happening in Palestine and call them antisemites, is beyond contempt. Speaking out against those who seek to smear Labour Party members is the right thing to do.

threadreaderapp.com/thread/1149426426665455622.html

Anniebach, for information the Skwawkbox is not run by Mike

lemongrove Sun 14-Jul-19 18:33:46

Well bmacca.....you started the post well, then it went downhill after that.
Nothing to say about the way that Jewish members have been treated, even at LP conferences, or the way that Corbyn’sOffice have tried to dampen down allegations interfere with proceedings and generally talk the talk but quite definitely don’t walk the walk.
