suzie you are saying a married man with children having and affair is not to be compared with a married man without children having an affair .

An affair is an affair, a betrayal.

No annie I’m saying a married man with children living with his wife and having multiple affairs leading to pregnancies is not morally equivalent to a married man with no children separated from his wife having a relationship brief or not.

lemon there’s straying off the straight and narrow and then there are serial adulterers. I think there are differences in degree that actually matter - do you really think a one night drunken stand ( for example) whilst married is the same as multiple affairs and pregnancies?

suzie the second Mrs Johnson needs sympathy because she has children but not the first because she didn’t have children.

Children or no children an affair causes much pain. The 2nd Mrs Johnson didn’t consider the 1st Mrs Johnson did she ?
