really going to move in his mistress into number 10?

Nandalot Wed 24-Jul-19 18:03:52

Lots of secret passages to Number 10 if he/she want to be discreet!

SirChenjin Wed 24-Jul-19 18:06:54

Doom mongers? Cruel? So BJ, Trump and Corbyn have been married multiple times - it’s not really that unusual these days. Did I miss something?

dragonfly46 Wed 24-Jul-19 18:11:50

Quite honestly who cares. I think who he lives with is the least of our problems. Unless it is Ivana Trump grin

SirChenjin Wed 24-Jul-19 18:15:43

It wouldn’t surprise me grin

not interested in his personal morals or lack of - but pillow talk can be very dangerous - and I certainly do NOT want to pay for her security either.

What is her profession btw???

Callistemon Wed 24-Jul-19 18:26:27

Would being married make pillow talk acceptable?

travelsafar Wed 24-Jul-19 18:27:56

I wonder if she will go to Balmoral with Boris when he goes for the usual weekend. I do feel for his ex wife, she had to put up with a lot and has missed the chance to be PM wife and live at No 10. Or maybe she is not bothered.

jura2 Wed 24-Jul-19 18:28:05

She is not 'just another blond bimbo or bit of fluff' - she knows a lot from the inside, and is a journalist for Bloomberg:

'Ms Symonds worked for Tory MP Zac Goldsmith in 2010 and later on his failed London mayoral campaign. She also advised Mr Johnson in his role as London Mayor.

In 2013 she was the Tory Party’s head of broadcasting and after the 2015 General Election she became special adviser to Culture Secretary John Whittingdale.

She has also been an adviser to Home Secretary Sajid Javid when he was Communities Secretary, and directed Conservative media operations during last year’s General Election.

After eight years working for the Tory Party she recently quit and is due to start a new job for US media group Bloomberg'

so another row, another woman, another break up-and she would hold a lot of important strings and be in a strong position to blackmail or worse.

SirChenjin Wed 24-Jul-19 18:29:34

Or dish the dirt...

Callistemon Wed 24-Jul-19 18:29:40

She was Tory Party Communications Director, not sure now.

Callistemon Wed 24-Jul-19 18:30:55

Oh, I see you answered your own question, jura, more fully than me.

suziewoozie Wed 24-Jul-19 18:31:57

Boris Johnson is ahead in the marriage stakes - onto no 3 at age 55 whereas Corbyn didn’t marry for the third time until he was 64.

Callistemon Wed 24-Jul-19 18:37:23

I wonder if they played that for their first dance?

Lizzie4377 Wed 24-Jul-19 18:42:42

I think until he’s divorced she’s his mistress. It’s all very French.

SirChenjin Wed 24-Jul-19 18:43:54

Or American

dragonfly46 Wed 24-Jul-19 18:45:00

She was a victim of Warboys the rapist taxi driver so I have a certain amount of sympathy for her.

jura2 Wed 24-Jul-19 18:46:19

for sure, but irrelevant in this context, or ?!?

Gonegirl Wed 24-Jul-19 18:47:24

I read she was drunk and didn't know if she had been a victim or not. Consensus seemed to be she wasn't.

Gonegirl Wed 24-Jul-19 18:47:53

Just interesting jura.

Grammaretto Wed 24-Jul-19 19:56:00

Is she his Philip? or Philippa I wonder?
(See other thread)
Everyone needs a helpmeet.
Sounds as if she might be a shade more sensible than him.

I don't think the French live with their mistresses surely they visit them in charming little apartments!?!

jura2 Thu 25-Jul-19 17:18:51

Are they ' your' words or were they the words of ' another' and you copied and pasted without attributing.

jura2 Thu 25-Jul-19 19:57:38

all my own - and no, I have not 'raised the subject on various threads'.

Good point Callistemon , in response to Jura. "pillow talk' - is that only dangerous if the couple aren't married?

In answer to the poster who felt sympathy for Marina Warner, I suspect she's relieved to be out of her marriage to Boris Johnson. He's been serially unfaithful to her throughout their marriage. One of their 4 children, a daughter in her mid twenties, recently described her father as a 'selfish b******'.

Evidently Boris Johnson and his current girl friend have bought a house together. it's expected she'll move into number 10 and spend some time there.

I read she was let go by her last employer for expenses issues, . I think her employer was the Conservative party.
