During Johnson’s leadership campaign, he said that a no deal brexit was a million to one.

Now he is preparing for a no deal.

I didn’t believe him then and I don’t believe him now.

I think what our verbose guest is doing is called "post-bombing" - trying to make it very difficult for anyone to discuss a subject because of the constant non-stop reiteration of their exceedingly boring and repetitive babbling. This is not from any hope of debating or persuading, just bludgeoning those who are using any thought into silence.

Done by speakers in parliamentary debate it is Gerrymandering, and when multiplied up by internet robots it becomes a "denial of service attack" and whole servers are so overloaded that they go out of action.

I hope that GNHQ are successful in stopping him/her from doing this. There is free speech and there is abuse of that free speech by preventing anyone else getting a word in edgeways - and I know which I would call this.

I'm not surprised you didn't WW2. I didn't know what this was called but it is obviously a deliberate attempt to stop us discussing. How does anyone know it isn't a bot. It's repeating itself now whatever or whoever it is. It sounds as if it comes from the original campaign.

I think Rory Stewart would be excellent fronting the defence against no-deal. I look forward to hearing more about that.

Over the top of course, but now the prospects have changed “no deal” looks a probability, in addition it will probably be an acrimonious divorce.

We all know how damaging that can be when all goodwill evaporates, we are turning our backs on our friends and neighbors so don’t expect any favors and they could be very awkward - just like divorcing couples often are.

So we are forced to go and find new friends across the globe and I am sure sterling falls enough they will be willing to give us a cuddle, as usual there will be a price to be paid.

I feel we are in very dangerous choppy waters and are being towed by the Titanic.

And the insistence that Mr Johnson will not meet any of the EU 27 leaders until they agree to look again at the hated Northern Ireland backstop is the right call.

The backstop isn't hated by the Irish.
