Well SirC...it is a lake after all, and I did call it Loch Lomand not Lake Lomand......tell you what, I’ll take the high road (faster) you take the low road (slower but less traffic)
And we will meet in the first bonny bank we come to,( Bank of Scotland) if that suits you?
Just a warning, on the quiet low road there are herds of roaming haggis,they have young at this time of year and can be aggressive!)

Been to the Trossachs and it is indeed a beautiful place - but there is no Loch Lomand anywhere

Ahh, but it’s not a lake because we don’t call lochs lakes up here, just as you don’t call your lakes lochs. Took me a while to get used to it when I moved up here and learning how to say the och bit rather than ock
