At long last a Remainer parliament will not be able to determine that we STAY in the EU. Good for Boris, good for the Government. It is a shame that it has to come to this to get any forward movement on leaving the EU, a decisin which was approved by the majority of MPs sitting in the HOC.
This has happened because most of those in the UK are sick and tired of a parliament that is working against the national interest.
It is in the interests of this country to move forward. Businesses want it, most Remainers have accepted it will happen and given the EU is firm that we take or leave Theresa May's awful withdrawal agreement - which Parliament rejected three times - we have no choice but to leave and THEN negotiate with the EU on a level playing field.
The UK and our MPs do not want what the EU has offered. That's a fact.
Remainer MPs won't let us leave by blocking or resorting to legal measures to obstruct every step of Brexit, so our government has decided to stop the nonsense, the political game-playing and get us out.
Well done! A positive step in the right direction. How disgraceful that some of our elected MPs have caused this to happen.
People around and about in our small town were delighted that this looks like progress.
I dare say Gina Miller is forking out yet more to lawyers and courts to find a legal loophole. Enemy of the state, I say.
I have more confidence in Boris Johnson's patriotic government than I have had in any government (of any political persuasion) for a very long time.
No more pussyfooting around and caving in to Remainer MPs, thank goodness.
Let us sit back and wait for Remainer fury and every attempt under the sun to prevent it happening....Millions of people are absolutely disgusted by Remainer sour grapes. Thank you Boris.
