Let us not forget that Meghan was an actress in her former life and probably relishes the "poor me" role. She was not an ingenue was she hooked up with Harry and knew exactly what she was doing. Now, when it suits her, she wants "family time" off and is using royal status when it suits her. Our Royal family have changed and modernised over recent years and we do not need an ill-informed American trying to change the rules.

She really thinks very little of Britain and Britishness

When she said that she was going to introduce us to feminism, (despite all late does around getting girls access to sport) I gave her the benefit of the doubt! Maybe she really would highlight issues that were previous taboo.

Leave them to go their own way, there's no real necessity for them to " fit in " with everyone else. If they want to pull out from duties, let them, I say.

Yes, they'll still have to have the protection but not as heavy as it seems to be.
William is the more important one who'll eventually take over his father's duties, then his children will be the foreseeable futures should there still be a future.

Maybe 'slagging off' was a bit of an exaggeration, Gonegirl but the British Stiff Upper Lip has stood us in good stead over the years and she forgets the tabloids were full of articles praising her to the heights when she and H first married.

Mental health is a huge issue the world over.
I'm sure it would be rarity indeed to find a family who has not seen a loved one(s) suffer with MH issues.

Where we differ from RF is having unlimited access to doctors, therapists and social support.

Another platform in the UK would (imho) have been more appropriate.

Having visited and held the hands and supported people in the various countries of the African continent and then to complain about personal grievances, after they had listened to what must have been on some occasions quite gruelling personal accounts, seems to diminish what H & M had set out to do.

Harry said he his traumatised everytime he hears a the click of the camera.

In parts of Africa and other war torn countries, children run for cover when they hear the click of a camera.

I think Harry will be miserable if they relocate to LA. Does he ever see his old friends these days? The spark has gone out and he even looked self conscious and embarrassed holding his own baby.

It comes across as though Meghan is starring in a film where the wife's coercive control convinces the husband he's having a breakdown.

Tbh, I wouldn't have thought the middle of a tour of Africa was the place to speak about your own mental health difficulties. And for the interviewer to join in sounds a bit of a self pity fest.

Most of what is written in newspapers is sensationalised and mainly untrue, just to sell papers or magazines. If it makes you upset, just don't read it!

The European RF's seem to have a more free and easy way of life. They don't appear to be as stuffy as our lot. Princess Mary of Denmark was an Aussie at birth but had to renounce her citizenship after becoming married to Crown Prince Frederik.

Mary is adored in her native Australia and has proved to be a popular member of the Danish people and has fitted in well given her humble beginnings in Tasmania. Princess Mary has 4 children and is seen to visit Oz quite often.

Meghan appears as a snowflake, I cannot imagine the Queen being poor me.
