I would just like one thread for brexiters only please.
I voted leave. I would vote leave again and again and again. There has been nothing to change my mind. I have been hardened by the views of remainers.
I would really like to talk to other brexit minded posters.
Thanks.

I expect somebody will be along shortly to remind us to be inclusive and allow remainers to play.
Newsflash! They are already playing and have stolen the skipping ropes.
Grandad 1943 I am not crying on anyones shoulder and I certainly haven't realised any terrible mistake I made in 2016. Be grateful if you wouldn't speak on my behalf
Can I just ask before this is deleted and I get the chop for some reason..... has GN ever decided that a complaint is vexatious and left a thread up?
I am a remainer.
Firstly for personal reasons as I am a Brit resident in another EU Country.
Secondly because I believe sincerely that Brexit will not in the short or medium term benefit the majority of British people nor in the long term make Britain better in any way.
I'll vote leave again if there's another referendum. Mr. S. who voted remain said he will change his vote to leave.
I gave my reasons for voting for Brexit in the aftermath of the 'once in a life time' referendum and wont waste my time by doing so again.
Well it's page 5 aprilrose and not too bad so far
.
I really was all agog to hear what Leavers had to say. If, as they believe, leaving is inevitable I'd like to know how it will make my life better.
Surely if someone wishes to have a peaceful discussion among like-minded Brexit persons, that would be better held on a closed group WhatsApp page and not on an open forum such as this.
However, perhaps such Brexit thinking persons do not possess the forethought to work that out, or this thread was started to deliberately be provocative. ?
Or perhaps such brexit thinking persons do not use whatap and facebook at all? I have personally ever seen a need for them.
I just really wanted to know if there were others like me. I know about the rest of you. It is hard to get away from knowing really. You are all so vocal.
aprilrose
??
In my experience it is teenagers who use whatsapp. When one grows up one leaves that behind. As for facebook, I know lots of young people who used facebook for a while then as they started to go into the workplace they deleted their profiles. They too know not to be on facebook. First place an employer looks.
Grandad et al. I say again that we should opt out and allow the positive posts to accumulate before we make further comments. Optimistic posters are being diverted from their main purpose by having to argue about their right to post their views.
Why not just stand back and see what they say when the have the freedom to do as they wish without distraction?
Boris is a British hero. We should be thankful that we have someone like him fighting for us.
aprilrose, I feel you must have little experience of WhatsApp in stating on this thread that only young people use that media.
Three generations of our family use our WhatsApp page and it is great for everyone keeping in touch almost every day with news of what's going on at work, school, sport or everyday life.
In my workplace, very many have similar WhatsApp setups with their family and friends.
So, the WhatsApp for young only statement would seem to be somewhat "out of touch" in todays world.
You are unbelievably pompous grandad 1943. Totally full of your own importance.
Aprilrose there are millions like you in the country, and many on GN too, rest assured, who are hoping this week will prove decisive, and see us finally leave the EU on the 31st after years of dithering. The whole country, not just GN and similar forums needs to put this issue finally ‘to bed’ and move on.
He’s not a British hero Urm - N Ireland and Scotland don’t think he’s up to much. You must mean English and Welsh?
Agree Urmstongran ?
My apologies GG - in no way did I say I wasn't interested. I would really like to know what you leavers think is so good about leaving. But it looks as though I'm still not going to find out any time soon. Hence my comment about ignoring us Remainers.
As for your last sentence - how dare you!
I am an absolute leaver and it is so good to hear from other leavers. Even my best friend suggested that I must be thick to make my decision. Everyone says that I was persuaded to leave by the manifestos. Absolutely not. I made up my own mind immediately from the start. With any massive change, there will be teething troubles. But overall I am excited about our future.
What a waste of reading 5 pages of this thread. Lots of people saying they voted leave, but as far as I could see only one person giving their reasons for voting leave. No one discussing the positives of leaving. Oh well I live in hope that one day I will understand why people voted leave.
We have an interesting week ahead and it could be a decisive one. The government has all sorts of problems ahead of it which many will want to discuss. And the leave voters? They just want to run away and hide it seems.
Leaving by 31 October? We shall see. The government, apparently, intends to try and bring forward another meaningful vote tomorrow. Did the learn nothing when May tried this? It will, if it is repeat, be rejected by the speaker and like so many leave voters on here, no doubt Johnson and Co., will blame everyone but themselves. It also contradicts the Letwin amendment that parliament agreed on Saturday. Perhaps Johnson thinks that law doesn't apply to him either.
It also looks like amendments will be put forward on such things as staying in the Customs Union which could entirely derail the pseudo saviour at the head of government. As the oh so clever Eton Boys have not actually put forward a Programme Motion they may not even be able to start a discussion if they bring one forward on Monday, it could be voted down in favour of discussing it next week or after October 31st, so until an extension is in place. And there is the Queen's Speech, which may also be voted down during the week.
I find this interesting and will discuss it where I want without some bossy old lady trying to tell me I can't.
Urmstongran Quote[ Boris is a British hero. We should be thankful that we have someone like him fighting for us.] End Quote.
Urmstongran, it sounds as if you are trying to make out that Johnson is to Britain a second Churchill.
However, Churchill was most definitely not a liar or a womanizer. He never told this nation that he would rather be dead in a ditch than carry something out, and then go and carry out just that action.
By the way, how is the misappropriation of public funds to the pole dancer investigation going Urmstongran, as being busy I seem to have lost track of that in the last few days?
Absolutely agree with mcem!
Does anybody get really angry with the remainers at Parliament that positively bellow for ages even though you can’t hear what they are calling out. When the newsreaders are interviewing people from both sides of the coin, the bellowers are actually stopping us from hearing any debate properly at all so we cannot even hear people fighting the remainers’ corner. Foolish.
