Brexit list - this one is different, really!

Thinking about the 50p coins which have been minted and are not now being used, what else can you list that was 'definite' and how long did it last before being pulled?

I'll start with an easy one: SJ said there would definitely be a budget in November and then, less than 24 hours later, said there wouldn't.

I know I will bore some of you with this but there was the solemn promise to all EU nationals that they would automatically be granted leave to stay. A bit later the settled status scheme was put in place. For some EU nationals it has worked, for others it is proving to be a nightmare.

Not boring Greta that is what this thread is about. Personally I am delighted that my friends saw what was happening, one has dual nationality in another EU country, some EU friends have become British Citizens as has a non-EU friend. Let's not forget the 3 who have simply left the UK and taken their high qualifications and experience with them

LOL - I do the same with other names and I google them (being the good search engine that I am) to see what their names mean. A lot of lightbulb moments here, I can tell you! smile
