For 'not a party of change' the tories managed a great deal of change over the last 40 years. Unless, of course, you regard destroying Britain's industry, destroying the trade unions, privatising everything in sight and presiding over vast increases of wealth at one end of the 'wealth' spectrum and increased poverty at the other, not as 'change' but as just restoring the Natural Order of societal relationships.

Thing with Labours promises , you have a leader who is very left wing, and supports things like communism.

However, if we're talking about links with Russia, we need look no further than the PM's toxic sidekick, Cummings, and the PM's extraordinary decision to suppress a report exposing Tory links with Russian oligarchs and the influence within the British political system that these oligarchs are buying.

Can you imagine the reaction of the right wing press if Corbyn had been the PM who decided to suppress a report on Russian interference in our democracy just before a general election?

By the way, a recent Tory innovation was the rule that one could only apply for “universal credit” online but when Mr Corbyn suggests free wifi he is again accused of being a crazy Marxist.

It was the most upbeat bit of politics I have seen for nine years.

I have experienced numerous Labour Governments in my lifetime and whilst there is always an initial euphoria it always end with dire consequences which the next Government has to sort out!

I also find it disgraceful that Labour and Corbyn keep going on about "austerity" but never mention it was the last Labour Government of over a decade that helped cause it, having inherited a strong stable economy with low borrowing and then leaving a failing economy with massive borrowing.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I see Lily Allen was crying when the Labour manifesto was announced-probably millions of others were as well!

Needs to be some honesty here, the chances of Labour
winning an overall majority and being able to enact that
manifesto are negligible. On the betting markets it's around 1%.
