If you want our NHS to be ended and replaced by a private health scheme then this is where your vote should go.

The NHS is for sale if the Tories win. You won't take it from me? Take it from former Tory Prime Minister John Major.

"The NHS would be as safe as a pet hamster in the presence of a hungry python if Boris Johnson, Michael Gove & Iain Duncan-Smith rose to power following Brexit."

I’m unclear how using your head would end up in you voting for Johnson unless you don’t care about child poverty, the NHS, public services or social welfare.

I know from my own unfortunate personal encounter with
@BorisJohnson
that when he shoved a Melon in my face and proceeded to imitate a Monkey, that proved to me that he’s not only cruel but a vile disgusting RACIST. If you vote for him then you condone that type of behaviour. ??‍♀️

This is an appalling way for the family of a victim to be treated. Dominic Raab is a disgrace

American medications are much more expensive than European medications. Taxation would be heavier on us all if the NHS had to buy from US medicine companies.

Oopsminty The quote comes from the days when we were all less educated and less secure than we became so knew it paid to "know our place" and appreciate "good" masters. (Notice it was before the Labour Party even existed.)

I find I grew up and moved further and further to the left as the insecurity, poverty and great disparity in wealth was brought back by the politics of the right.

So, is it true, Cummings has 'resigned'???

I try not to tweet political opinions, but as it’s my birthday allow me just one. The Tories do want to sell off the NHS. Not in one go, just bit by bit until it’s unrecognisable. You’ll turn up one day and there will be a priority waiting room. They’ve always been open about it.

Lord Heseltine has lambasted Brexit yet again calling for a second referendum with the former depuity PM saying he cannot support people who are going to make the country "poorer and less influential".

Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Today programme, he said: "The real issue is what is at stake and it is the prosperity of this country, the world influence of this country, our relationships with our neighbours in Europe - this is transcendingly the over-arching issue at stake in this election.

"I cannot vote or support people who are going to make the country poorer and less influential - full stop, end of story."

Lord Heseltine later said: "It's complete nonsense to suggest that the thing (Brexit) can be done by Christmas. All you can do by Christmas is to pass legislation to enter into negotiations. It's preposterous. We are in for another year of uncertainty and a possibility of a no-deal exit at the end of it. That's the reality of what we're facing if Mr Johnson gets an overall majority."

Lord Heseltine continued that he believes Brexit is "utterly disastrous for Britain's position in the world, and for our economy, and for the investment which has frozen up in this country at the moment and for the inheritance for young people that we will pass on".

That's deliberate Whitewave. We could probably take bets on how soon the B*****d Tories, if they get into power, will start to say 'it's obvious we can't run a decent NHS; it has to be privatised'.

Was Boris Johnson frightened to turn up because he could not have answered any of the questions?

Everytime I see the title, I just think 'surely, no-one in their right mind and with a heart and conscience, could vote for him now.'

It's 5pm. I walk out of Soho restaurant. On the cold pavement is a huddled bundle, young enough to be be my granddaughter. Too hopeless even to beg. I get her a coffee, give her my change. Does it make her feel better? Does it make me feel better? No. This is my country, 2019.

GracesGranMK3 Sat 30-Nov-19 08:33:30

Oh Whitewave, sadly it is what some people believe to be right and will tell us the "her" deserves it for not living the way they do. Which is even worse.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 30-Nov-19 08:41:56

You need to see it in Brighton. Bundles of clothes in almost every shop doorway in the main shopping area.

Of course the weather this time of year sees many of them off which I’m sure pleases the Tories.

janipat Sat 30-Nov-19 10:26:02

Grany I despise the trying to coerce anyone to vote in any particular way, and surely it has to be illegal. If you vote in person I fail to see how this can be done, only one person at a time is allowed in the voting booth, so nobody knows where you put your cross. Isn't that why there was concern over postal voting where people could stand over another and demand it be filled in a certain way?

Urmstongran Sat 30-Nov-19 10:57:48

Of course the weather this time of year sees many of them off which I’m sure pleases the Tories.

That’s a truly shocking statement to make WWmk2

Disgusting.

They are also happy for the poor to suffer hernias without repair, kidney stones without removal, and at least 34 other procedures they can no longer have without paying.

Try telling me now that they care about the poor of course they don’t. Hateful
