Rambling. The sentence describes both Parties right wing.

Boring but true.

The right do not care about antisemitism or do anything about it, antisemitism was weaponised to attack Jeremy Corbyn and keep the right wing of Party and press happy.

From what I can see hear from people they are not happy with way Starmer is running the Party. I have my doubts too but it still remains to be seen how he will do as leader.

I thought these were allegations and that they were not proven yet. I heard that the leaked report that contained such allegations had been quoted from selectively and out of context. Others claim this is untrue.

Hopefully the report from the EHRC, which has been investigating allegations of anti-semitism in the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn, will uncover what was actually going on and lay the matter to rest.

Until then, it is surely premature to say "we know" as you have done.

I believe there are two investigations going on within the Labour Party at present. One is being carried out by the EHRC and is looking at antisemitism in the party, while another is looking at the alleged behaviour of staff within the party offices in acting against Jeremy Corbyn.

The two inquiries are not linked, as far as I am aware?

Criticising the current Isreali government isn’t AS. Denying there has been a problem with AS in the Labour Party in recent years flies in the face of the evidence.

You haven't responded to my point about the undermining of Jeremy Corbyn being allegations at this stage, not facts. I assume you know the difference between the two?

Shaz1965 - you are right that there is a separate investigation being carried out. It will investigate the leaked anti-Semitism report on staff and the investigation will cover the contents and the circumstances of the report’s release.

Starmer talked about his family during the Hustings in the lead up to the leadership contest. He said he tries to keep Vridsy free of engagements so he can be with his family as they keep Shabat. Inevitably, some accused him of being one sided on the s Isreali -Palestine issue. Doesn’t take long does it, to raise its head.

Germany, Netherlands going back into lockdown in the news tonight, and are heading into a fourth wave. Although stricter rules, than us, masks still mandatory, cases are rising and family say it’s going to get tighter, with confirmation of vaccination proof having to be shown for entry to restaurants etc. Not sure in the long run they have done much better.

I'm not convinced he's got control of the Labour Party. The antisemitism was a major issue for me.

I still think if the LP won an election he'd be put on his ear and the antisemitic group back in control.

I wish your post had focused on the positive things he wanted WWM2. The endless government bashing has just become tedious and puts me off rather than bringing me back. I can see what's going wrong for myself. I want to know how it can be put right.
