Won’t do a virtual debate - should be empty chaired. Good news
Trumps suggesting that he will hold an (super spreader) event instead of the debate.
So if Trump losses what will he do between November and January?
I can’t see him being able to tolerate it.
CNN
Political Analyst says that the Trump presidency is crumbling before our eyes. The analyst said that he hadn't seen a presidency in so much trouble since Nixon.
Urmstongran 'I’m with you dorabelle. We’re in the minority on here though.
*shrug'
I wonder why you are a minuscule minority here- could there me some very good reasons why- perhaps.
But you are brave, very brave.
Donald Trump has attacked Kamala Harris following the vice presidential debate on Wednesday night, calling the California senator “unlikeable” and falsely claiming she is a “communist” in an interview with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo.
Speaking about the Democratic vice presidential nominee’s debate performance, the president said on Thursday morning: “She was terrible … totally unlikeable.” He added: “And, she’s a communist.”
It’s a label the president has often used to attack the Democratic Party and his apparent enemies, reportedly claiming the party’s platform was “probably communist” at a campaign event in Ohio last month.
During his phone interview with Fox News on Thursday, the president continued to refer to Ms Harris as a “monster” and at one point described her as the “monster who was on stage with Mike Pence” at the debate.
Mr Trump has routinely targeted Ms Harris with name-calling attacks, referring to her as a “mad woman” in previous statements and falsely claiming she may not be eligible to serve in the vice presidency, a false conspiracy rooted in racism.

All views count. Especially at the polling station.
To be fair to Urmstongran I think a lot more Americans vote for Trump at the polling station than dare to admit to it.

No one is denying that there are millions voting for Trump. They are all deluded.
Trump supporters arrested by FBI for planning to arrest the Michigan governor and take over the government.
God knows what is going to happen when Trump looses.
Not arrest !!,
Kidnap!!
Blimey planned a civil war!
This isn’t looking good is it? I trust the FBI have infiltrated all the groups to prevent trouble after Trump looses.
Spot on Ellianne.

"There is zero reason to believe that, should he be re-elected, that pattern will change."
Trump. Some good things.
He continued to deliver for the forgotten Americans. Unemployment is at record lows; this year the number of job openings outnumbered the unemployed workers to fill them by the widest gap ever; wages are rising, and low-wage workers are experiencing the fastest pay increases. Fifty-seven percent of Americans say they are better off financially since Trump took office.
He implemented tighter work requirements for food stamps. With unemployment at historic lows, there is no reason more people should not be earning their success through productive work. The rules apply only to able-bodied, childless adults. When we require people to work for public assistance, we not only help meet their material needs but also help them achieve the dignity and pride that come with being a contributing member of our community. Work is a blessing, not a punishment.
He has got NATO allies to cough up more money for collective security. Not before time! Allies have increased defense spending by $130 billion since 2016. And the White House reports almost twice as many allies are meeting their commitment to spend 2 percent of gross domestic product on defense today than before Trump arrived.
He stood with the people of Hong Kong. He warned China not to use violence to suppress pro-democracy protests and signed the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act. Hong Kong people marched with American flags and sang the USA national anthem in gratitude.
His tariff threats forced Mexico to crack down on illegal immigration. Mexico is for the first time in recent history enforcing its own immigration laws — sending thousands of National Guard forces to its southern border to stop caravans of Central American migrants. Plus, Congress is poised to approve the U.S.-Mexico-Canada free-trade agreement, which would not have been possible without the threat of tariffs.
He ordered the operation that killed Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. It was a high-risk mission that required U.S. forces to fly hundreds of miles into terrorist-controlled territory. If things had gone horribly wrong, Trump would have been blamed. That risk is why former vice president Joe Biden advised President Barack Obama not to carry out the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Trump did not hesitate the way Biden did.
(All these from an article in the Washington Posts).
I don’t think I’m brave biba. I just see the bigger (non-Democrat) picture. I like that he’s kept as many promises as he was able.
I still think he’ll get a second term.
Mussolini got the Italian railways to run on time.
A stopped clock is right twice a day.
ug how on earth does any of what you have listed compensate for his lies, his irrational behaviour, his misogyny, his racism, his tax dodging, his indebtedness to the Russians? The list is endless
I just see the bigger picture - flipping Nora ;)
Nothing on your list of Trump's 'successes' compensates for the endless list of his dreadful behaviour (see Whitewave above)
A nice person could have achieved all that stuff and more...
Although, he does have a very large office staff and I doubt any of it was his idea anyway. He cannot even string together a coherant sentence.

Absolutely true- I think it's the LAST thing many would own up to is voting for Trump-
He isn't all bad, tho- He has balls- Now .. If we could only take off his balls and give them to Obama? We'd have a perfect president!
