He has also had the whip removed from the Parliamentary Labour Party.
This is after the release of the antisemitism report.

I see we are on to round four.
The request for the apology was on the news this morning.
Jeremy Corbyn has nothing to apologise for.
In the EHRC he allowed to say what he did say it's called Free Speech.
Starmer David Evens et al are now in such a muddle to get them out of muddle they want Jeremy to humiliate himself Don't do it Jeremy.
Starmer is duplicitous he is on video saying in Liverpool standing for elections. Corbyn is a decent man and we all know why they smear him they will do it to every Labour leader and the Sun He is doing the same.
Anniebach, Corbyn is yesterdays leader. It is the present leader Starmer that is now causing the irreparable damage to the party by not allowing free speech in the organisation. That has brought condemnation on him from all sections of the party. It is also causing many thousands to walk away from the party threatening the future of the organisation and the chances of any left leaning government being elected at any time in the foreseeable future.
So how far can we go with free speech ?
Free speech is permissable as long as it does no harm to others. Corbyn's speech did no harm, except perhaps to the right wing of the LP who want to keep him quiet. The ridiculous thing is had they not been so stupid, reacted so badly, failed to realise they were acting illegally, tried to administer further punishment when he was reinstated by the NEC and actually just ignored the statement all the fuss would be over by now. Instead they've made it about democracy in the LP and the implementation of 2 key EHRC recommendation- Free speech and no interference in disciplinary matters by the Leader. What a cock-up!
Saying the findings of the report into anti Semitism was dramatically overstated didn’t harm Jews ?
He did not say the findings in the report were dramatically overstated. He said the scale of the problem as reported by the media was dramatically overstated.
A little accuracy is important.
Did the media not quote the findings ?
Rumour has it that the far left have left the virtual NEC meeting and that Margaret Beckett has been elected as Chair?

Did the media not quote the findings ?
They did but that is a totally different matter to Starmer withholding of the whip from Corbyn following the disciplinary panel reinstating him as a member. Starmer then compounded the whole situation further by telling all members of the Labour Party that they could not discuss the matter at any meeting held.
It is that forbidding of free speech in the Labour Party that has now brought the current crisis about. Corbyn is history, but despite how he has been treated he is still trying to keep the party and movement from splitting apart. That is the expression of the man's character.

Rumour has it that the far left have left the virtual NEC meeting and that Margaret Beckett has been elected as Chair?
Well if that be fact I am very glad I have left the party with the many thousand of others. Time for a new alignment of the left, so let us hope that following the Unite Union elections for General Secretary and National Executive places there policy and funding will bring that about
The sooner we have two left of centre parties the better. One of the things that hs always stopped me voting Labour has been the way they constantly give the impression of fighting like ferrets in a sack and when one has the upper hand the other is trying to undermine it.
No, I do not vote Conservative either, but for different reasons.
Free speech is permissible as long as it does no harm to others. Who gets to decide what is harm?
Who decides what is harm ! ! ! !
Can anyone explain to me why Margaret Beckett is a bad choice? She even supported his bid to become party leader. She’s a thoroughly decent politician: a real elder statesperson at a time when many of them have fallen by the wayside.
Margaret Beckett has been elected unanimously as Labour’s
new NEC chair

Young members put their faith in me as Chair of Young Labour to represent them. As a democratic socialist I stand with young members and their right to engage with the Labour party’s long standing democratic traditions. Now, more than ever, young people's voices need to be heard.
Young Labour Statement
In the interests of accountability to the thousands of Labour members who elected me, I feel I must share the following information to demonstrate the bullying atmosphere which currently prevails in the Labour Party.
On Saturday, following a vote of the Young Labour National Committee (YLNC), a decision was reached to publish a statement in opposition to the removal of the whip from Jeremy Corbyn MP.
Earlier today, I received an e-mail from Labour’s head office ordering me to remove this statement "immediately" and alleging that Young Labour had "missused" Labour "branding" to provide "commentary on factional disputes."
As chair of YLNC, it is my role to facilitate the democratic voting process when members of the committee propose statements.
During the recent elections, I was elected as chair with 71% of the vote on an unambiguously socialist platform in a result that was repeated across the Young Labour elections.
This mandate means that I am obliged to uphold democracy, including the right of the committee to release a statement in solidarity with Jeremy Corbyn to address the demands of young members.
Rather than trying to silence young people, unelected officials in the Leader’s Office should consider the massive sense of betrayal that many young voters and Labour members feel about this decision.
This is a far bigger issue than interference from the Leader’s Office or individual political stances. The actions we have seen in recent weeks undermine members' democratic rights and free expression, and are a threat to the fabric of our party.
It's time for the Labour leadership to listen to young people. This generation is weighed down by low wages, insecure work, high rents and student debts – we did not get involved in politics to stay quiet and allow the status quo to continue.
Young people have supported Labour at unprecedented levels in the past five years, but it would be a mistake to take their support for granted. I will continue to stand with the elected leadership of our youth movement, and uphold their democratic rights.
So young people gone, unions threatening to leave who will be left in the Starmer party?
The NEC walk out was in protest about the Leader of the party interfering in NEC business once again. He really can't keep his fingers out of anybody's business can he?
The Labour Party still has nearly half a million members. The right wing media is making a big deal about the number who have left recently (well, they would, wouldn't they?) but Corbyn also caused thousands to leave.
What I don't understand is why left-wing supporters are doing the right-wing's job for them.
The majority of the Labour Party's funding still comes from its membership and short money.
What I don't understand is why left-wing supporters are doing the right-wing's job for them.
What I don't understand is why anyone who is really committed to Labour ideals would try to prevent free speech or subvert democratic processes. It's something at the heart of the party. Or why someon who claims to be so much in favour of the EHRC report would ignore 2 of its recommendations.
The unions won’t leave , they will be homeless, a far left party
of Corbyn devotees is not going to gain power, 1983, 2017, 2020 , the country spoke .
Why do you think the unions won't leave, Annieb?
I thought that Unite was champing at the bit to be off...
