how stupid. And of course, the French Press, TV and Social media pick this up and it is brodcasted far and wide.

But certainly, if the French and other border EU countries believe, as they certainly will, that the UK has played a nasty, lying, wasting time game - they will not bend over backwards to help with red tape and border/customs issues. That I can guarantee.

To elaborate, we remain NATO members so no problem with military flights.
International flights are flights and crew licensing are agreed with EASA the European regulator
Our own CAA are integrating other pilots regulations with the EASA system.

Other than probably a separate immigration lane for U.K. travelers there will be few changes, maybe the computers for E Passports will need reprogramming.

I’m sorry to disappoint you but I’m always pleased when someone posts something that is well researched and means that people’s health will not be at risk. Which doesn’t mean that I don’t have a right to be angry about blatant lies spread across the front pages of newspapers.

They will do what’s in the best interests (money) for them, and although we will do much the same, it’s an element of compromise on both sides ....so all this stuff about ‘a nasty lying wasting time game’ ( how the EU border countries according to biba regard the UK) is baloney.

I thought it was wrong to question the intelligence of voters? Anyway, you obviously don’t know of people that have had breakdowns due to brexit so I’ll just leave you to your celebrations.

what is baloney, is to pretend to sign up to a Withdrawal Agreement, get it passed by Parliament - and yet already planning to totally bypass it, right from the start (even much earlier in March) breaking International Law.

The emotions are real, and high- in the EU- with ordinary citizens who are appalled about the lack of respect shown by Johnson, the ERG, and, as they see it, the people of the UK.

Amazing how people who have shown masses of emotions about Sovereignty and gaining back control, etc- say that emotions are not involved.

Don't expect the French to make a huge effort to try and limit the consequences of a No Deal- especially in Ports, Customs and MWays.

The Times and the Telegraph are just as bad. That only leaves the Guardian, the Independent and the Mirror. But no-one reads them, surely?

The problem is that the French are more nationalistic than the British and much more passionate about it too. They have protected their core industries whereas we have flogged off ours to the highest bidder, you would be surprised how many UK companies are French owned

Can I just say slightly off topic how much I hate the sneering about those who read newspapers, it's just so unpleasant.

Yes most big companies and utilities are foreign owned - Rolls Royce, Walkers Crisps, Cadbury’s, EDF, water companies, etc etc. The idea that we can be “independent” without the influence of other countries is laughable.

So I wonder how the headbangers are reacting to the border down the Irish Sea ?

Talking about the NI issue I heard Gove in selling the decision, that what the N Irish will have now is the best of both worlds and how lucky that is.
